I had to check out at three in the morning and I informed the staff at desk to tell the night staff to expect it. This grumpy old santa looking dude scolded me “YOU NEED TO BRING BACK EVERYTHING WE GAVE YOU!”. I have mere minutes to catch the Trolly in the middle of the night but ok, I go get them. He carefully took the linens from me and then dramatically drops it them on the floor. Takes the key and says nicely “ok you’re good”. There are some serious issues with cleanliness of the bathrooms

It definitely needs a little love and care. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned regularly which I do appreciate but there is a need for maybe updating some of the facilities. The lockers are old and not in the best shape and I felt the best alternative was leaving stuff in my suitcase. Every staff member I met was nice, though. Unfortunately I just didn’t sleep comfortably and I don’t know if it’s the location itself but I left with a lot of bug bites so I can’t say if I’d return again.

I didn't feel safe. Got thrown out for feeling uncomfortable about a hateful employee whom told me he didn't care about how he speaks or how I felt as a guest. They didn't even refund me. I'm safe in a super 8 and I won't be using this hostel anymore.
