Lovely staff. Great location if you want to be close to the main sights but in a less touristy area like Kao San road. Wifi works fine. Lovely street food/ restaurants nearby. The place has a real charm to it and is well maintained. Great DVD collection in the common room. Only downside is its not as social as other hostels but can be good if u want to just chill out at night.

Very nice hostel with the character of a boutique hotel. Walking distance to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Khao San Road. Very quiet and relaxed, definitely not a party hostel.

Really great hostel, stayed here on 3 separate occasions this trip. Staff are friendly remember you and where you've been and ask you about your trip. It's a nice touch that makes you feel welcome. Rooms are spacious with lockers big enough for your bags. Hostel is very clean and has a nice cafe. One of the easiest places I've stayed to meet people. Highly recommend staying here

One of the most reliable hostels, a safe haven in Bangkok. Dorms have personal lights and storage at bed with big lockers. Coffee shop has great coffee and good socialising place. Place across the road with constant huge queue meant to be one of the best places in Thailand for Pad Thai. Only let down is staff - poor English and tried to charge me 1500B for getting chocolate on my duvet!! Great tv room with DVD player too.

Love this place. Stayed here twice, book-ending my Cambodia trip. Staff was great about advice on how to get around, and also brought me medicine when I was passed out coughing in the common room.

It's about 10 mins walk from Khaosan road, which can be good or bad depending on if you want to party or not. Staff is very trustworthy. My friend left his walley passport and camera in the bathroom after a night of drinking , and they were all promptly returned upon discovery. It's nice to be away from the action on Khaosan whether you want to party or not.

The excellent hostel I ever met! Warm environment and super nice staff(actually they just like my friends!) room and bed are comfortable, air conditioner is great and bathroom is better than 3 stars hotel! Though it is not near any mrt station , in Thailand taking taxi even cheaper than mrt if u are group of people to go. Btw I miss u bu ber(I m yoko:))

I initially planned to only stay 2 nights at Niras Bankoc, but in the end I stayed for 4 nights. The staff is excellent, especially the receptionist, gave information that I need (tourist destination, how can I get there, etc). This place is strategic, it is not too far from tourist destinations like the Grand palace, Khaosan Rd,etc. food around the hostel is very easy to find, even Noodle resto in front of the hostel is very good. Overall I highly recommend this hostel. -Parlin, Indonesia-

Staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful with their local knowledge. If you can print a map of the location that would be helpful though as I found not many taxi drivers knew where it was

The staff at Niras are EXCELLENT! They'll help you with anything you may need and always with a smile on their faces. I've stayed there twice and when I came back the second time the woman behind the desk remembered my name! It was a great feeling in such a big city to have a place to come back to that felt so comfortable. Beds and bathrooms are clean, air con is great! what more could you ask for?

The staff were absolutely wonderful, and the facilities are stylish and comfortable. There are loads of DVDs you can borrow, and lots of books in the public area, and here are nice large cabinets in the dorms so you can easily lock away your whole big backpack. And the staff were super helpful and friendly (and also stylish, incidentally). I'm going to stay there again when I return I Bangkok!

Loved it here - friendly staff, quirky but modern place, common room with DVD player etc and nice dorms with massive lockers for your bags. Coffee shop out front too, though could do with serving food for a bit longer in the mornings for those who need an extra hour of sleep! 15/20 minute walk from Kohsan, easily managable and we did it each night, plus keeps you out of the hustle and bustle. Definitely stay here again, lovely place.
