We had a fantastic week there in January. Easy to get to, great location and lots to do with the hostel or on your own. Ok, it can get noisey at times but it is busy. Good they have a ban on alcohol in rooms but how they check that I don't know. Would stay there again. Book early though!

Hostel is too big.....could never get into the kitchen to cook my food. One bathroom for the whole floor. Rooms nice and bright

I stayed in a King Room with shared balcony for 3 nights, totally worth it. Wonderful environment and staff, reasonable internet fee, etc. Just a small confusion about room service that I didn't need a room service after the 1st night but they didn't come either after the 2nd night. Might be Nomads' policy that I missed. Anyway, will definitely come back again if I have a chance. Also curious about Nomads in other places.

a very nice place to stay. rooms bit small, but lovely lounge and kitchen. And very clean... BUT sometimes the people from the cleaning team were just too much into cleaning everything up. make sure you don t put the stuff you want to keep next to the bin in your room ^^ lost a good pair of shoes for the rest, a really good place.

Big place and a bit of a party hostel but you can still get a good night's sleep. Much better than the Nomads in Auckland. It was very professionally run but it was more of a business than a homely welcome.

Could not have had a better stay, location was amazing and the beds were actually comfortable. The communal areas were great for meeting people and the dorm rooms were allocated brilliantly so I met heaps of like minded people through out my stay.

With panorama windows facing one of the loudest party streets in queenstown, you're not likely to be getting much sleep. Windows closed and curtains shut it was still as if the party was in our room. To nomads; change the windows to more sound proof ones. Upon checking out the reception was understaffed, only one girl had to check out more than 50 guests all heading for the same buses.

Stayed in a deluxe double room and was very impressed. It had a shared balcony (with one other empty room) a beautiful view and clean and neat facilities. Only gripe was that they charged extra for wifi!

no character at all, overpriced and the public areas were closed at night and very over-regulated. this is a typical commercial hostel which is far from the essence of 'hosteling'. if you are 18-22ish and are the sort of traveller who wants to just get drunk as much as possible with other kids who are over-excited to be away from home for the first time then you might like this place. if you like a place with character and that 'home-from-home' feeling, you wont.

We had an AWESOME time at NOMADS... Most of the staff are amazing and they do anything to look after their customers. Even provide FREE dinner and brekky! Couldn't recommend it more!

Awesome hostel. I had one of the king suite rooms, and the views from the balcony were amazing. You're located right in the main centre of town, very close to restaurant s and shopping. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only bad thing i can say is that the facilities in the kitchen were a bit disappointing - couldn't find a knife sharp enough the even cut a tomato, and most of the pots were dirty / damaged. But overall, I had a great time here and would definitely be back again.
