Friendly staff and relaxed feel. Right in the heart of it all. Very basic yet clean. Cute family area, very much family run.

Great hostel and friendly, helpful staff. I love the balcony space on each floor, nice space to relax and socialize.

Nice people, good English and local knowledge, and the place is kept clean. One of the shower water heaters didn't work, not all rooms had air-con, and the dorm would have been over crowded if it was full, but hey, it's a backpackers.

Booked a private Room but we had to stay the 1st night in a Dorm because of overbooking and obviously they prefer Agoda Customers. That said, Location is great, right in the Center of Chinatown. Breakfast is very basic and so are the rooms. Free lockers and WiFi is a plus. The entrance door to the reception sounds like an old castle gate, so everytime someone comes in you wake up. Staff is busy with their baby and playing games. There are other Hostels in KK with better value.

After very disappointment with another hostel, I moved to that hostel and love that place. A little bit pricey, which is why I have to move out again to save some money for the week. Anyway, this hostel is awesome! free bag storage! free use of locker! I recommend this hostel!

Great location and VERY friendly staff - very close to the ferry terminal if you are catching the ferry to/from Brunei or Sarawak.

Good location, extra bed provided in my private room. But smelly toilet, unstable and weak wifi. Only one socket in the room.

I tried both private room and dorm and they were clean, quiet and basic nice - I wouldn't have wished anything else. Nothing special in this place but it works and location is excellent.

Basically No location in KK is good since there is no city centre. Or, that tiny area IS the city centre in which case it's a sad state of affairs. NBC is close to a tiny bar that always had westerners in it; a two story restaurant (Upperstar) that'll show Premier League football w commentary if you ask them to; plus department store Suriah Sabah w a cinema in it. Common room by reception. Balcony w table/chairs. Hot private room w/o ac. Hot showers which is a plus. Beach too far to walk to.
