The hostel is a little bit far from the downtown.

How about a toilet roll holder? Or a towel rack in the bathroom? Can the windows be closed? Bit cold when going to the toilet, let alone people being able to see in. Power point not working, no dark curtains.

on a busy road constant traffic noise had a "function" on a Sunday that went until 11pm with 20 children screaming continuously for 5 hours, followed by a group of drunken adults from the party having a loud fight in front of the hotel so, for a Sunday, and being kept awake until at least midnight, not recommending this place to anyone. the staff gave the typical lame response to our complaint about all the noise, something like "well, we had a function", which, to me, is not adequate.

The hotel shouldn't of cancelled my booking 4 days before I was due to arrive, WITHOUT CONTACTING THE CUSTOMER FIRST.

This place would have been acceptable if the price had been substantially lower. The room was tiny, the walls were very thin and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. We didn't have problems with hot water or heating as some people have mentioned however I would agree that it was not the cleanest room we've had. Overall I would have been okay with it if it had been priced accordingly but this was definitely not the case.

The hostel has a friendly staff and the breakfast was good

Worst staff you could found in any service industry. Bad attitude with no motivation to help to make a better stay. Being accused of 'disturbing their staff' when we seek for help due to NO water running in the shower. For the1st night, staff refused to arrange us to a room with shower or direct us to any available showers;4 of us have NO SHOWER. As for 2nd night, being swapped to a 3 bed room when we have paid for a 4-bed room. Low EQ staff barked at us when we asked for a room we've paid for
