The hallways and rooms were so bad that we ended up staying at a hotel nearby and paying twice. It was uncomfortable to see such a mess on the carpets and again on the beds (mattresses and sheets with stains). Completely unacceptable even or a hostel.

Staff is GREAT! In temple bar so close to all nightlife and a lot of pubs. We had a great stay.

The staff is the best part, very friendly and very helpful in making plans and arrangements.they were the nicest staff in all of the hostels we stayed in this trip (stayed in 8 different hostels throughout Ireland) Doors slam loudly in the hallways but they are older heavy doors so that is to be expected. 3 shared bathrooms on main floor.

Wonderfully located hostel. We had a twin private ensuite room and while not luxurious, was just what we needed - a base to leave our stuff, and sleep at night. The price was right, and breakfast was sufficient to feel like you were getting something thrown in! The one key per room arrangement was fine for us as we were a couple traveling together, but I imagine would be a different story in the dorm rooms! Our room was clean, not too noisy, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were so friendly and so understanding when we checked out late. Really good location right in the heart of Dublin. Really good value for money, shower was a wee bit dirty but great accommodation, I would def stay here again

As reported on my arrival, I found that the hostel smelt of rubbish. The kitchen opening hours are short. The lighting is dismal. I found another hostel in Dublin which suwas light and airy and soap was supplied at all sinks. The shower was working but was not as comfortable as a more modern facility found in other hostels. I like the convenience of staying near the music scene but was uncomfortable in the hostel.

We rented a private room for the evening. The floor in the room was pretty dirty, but we had lots of hot water for two showers. Our window overlooked an outdoor bar area, which was loud and smoky into the early hours of the morning, but we expected that in Temple Bar. The kitchen could really use another toaster, especially since there was a larger group staying in the hostel and a long queue had formed just for toast. Complimentary luggage storage after check out was a huge bonus! Nice staff.

The hostel was right in the heart of temple bar, which was great! The staff was all nice and the bedrooms were clean. The shower had low pressure but it was hot, so I guess I can't really complain. All in all was a great experience and I would definitely stay there again.

The staff wasn't helpful. One key per room (ie not per guest) was an awful setup. I saw a cockroach in the kitchen. I DOT NOT RECOMMEND!

I was traveling with a friend who is in a wheelchair and was told that the hostel was handicap accessible. While there was a wheelchair lift and a lift to get to our room, had my friend's wheelchair been any larger, it would not have been able to fit through the doors or into the room. We had requested ahead of time a shower stool, since my friend is disabled and were told that we would be provided one. We were not. Also, the shower was impossible to use and either too hot or too cold.

I was traveling with a group of friends, one of which was in a wheelchair. We had confirmed with the hostel on a number of occasions that it would be wheelchair accessible. While she was physically able to get into the hostel, the hallways were so narrow that it was nearly impossible to get to our room. The bathroom was also completely inaccessible to her. Additionally, the bathrooms were incredibly dirty, and the shower unusable as the temperature oscillated from extreme hot to cold.
