We've been there for the full moon party in march. Not like many hostels, you can book only one or two nights during the full moon period, which is really good. The staff was nice and helpful, I had a nice stay there, although the very loud music all day long !

Enjoyed my stay here but more because of the atmosphere and the people I met. The location was fantastic, 5 minutes walk to the beach and everything around you. The rooms and beds were clean, brilliant aircon, not sure about the showers...

I, unfortunately, broke my foot in Ko Phangang. The staff of Om Ganesh could not have been more helpful. The owner often drove me to the clinic or down to the beach, free of charge. All the staff would jump up to help if they saw me hobbling along on my crutches. Around full moon, there are lots of freebies, including a free dinner the night before, a free bucket on the night and a discount on a full moon tank top.

I was there during the "Full Moon Party (FMP)" period and have to say that I was amazed of the hospitality of this place. It was organized a free dinner (eat as much as you can) for all the people who stayed in the hostel a day before the FMP and free buckets and body painting on the FMP. A day after we were invited to one of the family member's (owner of this place) b-day party. Nice! The hostel is very clean, safe, 5 min walk from the beach, ca 50 m from the pier; staff very helpful!

The only bad things about this hostel were that there was no common room and that the security wasn't great .. other than that it was an excellent stay and I would definately stay there again.

Spend only one night, the night of the fullmoon party. Where other hostels forced you to book 4/5 nights this one allowed me to book only two. My wallet got stolen in the hostel (by my own mistake, i left it unguarded in public space, you can't do that around full moon party) but the staff was very helpful in trying to get it back. When i sent them an e-mail later i got a fast reply. I was surprised by this, especially against the backdrop of all the chaos and craziness of the fullmoon party.

Great location for full moon party. Bunkmates weren't as outgoing as other hostels I've stayed in, but this is usually a luck of the draw type thing anyway. Security is really good here, no trouble with my belongings and the lockers are big enough to store all of your valuables. They had freebie events the day before and day of full moon party which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend staying here!

Om Ganesh was a good and cheap hostel close to the full moon-party, the room was nice and the staff as well. You didn't have any locker or key to the room, it felt a bit unsecure but you could borrow a small safteybox to padlock for the most important stuff. We had a really good stay at Om Ganesh, you'll get what you pay for!

We stayed in this hostel over November full moon... Great hostel.. Aircon in the rooms. Very clean rooms. The staff played music and encouraged socialising. My one negative is that the bathroom is a bit smelly and not the cleanest!
