I have stayed in the separate appartment which is a 10-minutes walk from the actual palazzo. The appartment is clean, has a lot of charme, a fully equipped kitchen and overlooks the harbour. I have stayed in Valletta for business and would always come back to stay at this place. A true treasure! Thank you very much to the fantastic hosts!

Good location in the centre of Valletta, good breakfast and friendly owner. It scored low on security because there was no lock on the room door. Good for a quiet get away. There's a basic kitchen on the top floor.

We booked the deluxe double room with private bathroom, which is really a self contained apartment with HUGE walk in shower, stunning sea views, light, airy, tiled floor, 5 mins from the main street in a quiet corner overlooking the sea, couldn't recommend highly enough.

This B&B was a real gem. It is ideally located in Valetta. The owners Jean and Antoinette were lovely and really helpful people. The rooms were adorable and the whole house was just full of character. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Valetta.

Hostel had lots of character, also in a good location, within walking distance to all major attractions. The room we had did smell a bit of damp but there was a dehumidifier provided which made the situation better.

No heating in the rooms, therefore very cold during winter time (for me in March). No lockers at doors - I could not take any risk to leave anything valuable in my room. But instead of this - lovely place. The roof terrace is excellent!

It's a good location if you want peace and quiet. Internet is very poor especially on the first floor (also very cold during the winter even through late Feb/march. Initially finding the hotel is difficult so I recommend a cab if not don't expect locals to know it because there are no signs indicating the place is a hotel.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Right in the centre of Valletta and very close to all the major cites. The owners are very warm and welcoming and and really go out of their way to help you. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Excellent value for money. I would definitely want to stay here again when I return to this beautiful city and highly recommend to others.

Great hostel with lots of character, we managed to go to Malta when it was freezing cold, unheard of, so the no heating was a bit of an issue but in saying that the beds were very warm.

This atmosphere of this beautiful hostel (palace) is unbelievable. For the money you pay, you get to stay in one of the most authentic and antique locations on the island. The rooms, kitchen and living room are spacious and beautifully decorated. Jean-Paul, the owner, is one of the friendliest hosts you could imagine, having plenty of tips on what to do on the island - and we even got to see him on live Maltese television! And his subtle sense of humour can really make your day.

Antoinette, the lady running the hostel is extremely warm and helpful. The house itself is amazing. It is central in Valletta, yet the area is very quiet so I would definitely recommend it.

This house is full of character! The upstairs kitchen was fantastic, we were able to cook meals every night and then eat outside on the patio. The rooftop terrace was the best part, great for laying in the sun during the day or sharing a few bottles of wine at night. The room doors do not lock but we took our cameras and passports with us every day. The lady who runs the place is a sweetheart, she let us come later to breakfast because she knew we went to St Julians the night before. Loved it!
