Bathrooms constantly flooded, A simple installation of Shower Doors instead of Shower Curtains would stop the problem since the Shower heads are rigidly facing the ground outside the shower tray!

Had a good stay at Pangea People. You have to pay 1 euro for 24 hours of wifi but it's better quality wifi than a lot of places I've stayed with free wifi.

I booked the hostel online before coming to the city because I saw it has some good reviews and it has central location, I arrived early and they didn't let me check in before 3! I went inside the hostel to check the place. Oh people don't come here. It's dirty and dark and smelly and the employes are rude and don't try to help you with anything! alot of creepy people were staying in the hostel so I left because I didn't feel comfortable being there.

Wi-Fi costs 1€ every 24h. Only two power plugs in the room, accessible with difficulty.

Very bad atmosphere, Toilets and showers were extremely dirty every time we used them. Noisey in rooms, no aircon, top bunk people have no access to power points in Left two days early to stay somewhere else The location is good and close to the train station

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE A SOLO TRAVELLER! This hostel is much too big and there is quite a young crowd. I don't think it's a great place for meeting new people, so if you are travelling alone that is a big no-no. I didn't like the fact that the common area was on the 5th floor? There was no chance to cook your own food. They have a bar which can be noisy if you are on the top floor. You have to pay for wifi? This hostel just wants to make as much money as possible from the guests.

The one female bartender got angry at me and my friends for using the communal pool table because she wanted to use it... This is while she was on shift serving drinks at the bar. Was also just generally very rude. Zero customer service whatsoever. And zero social atmosphere, gross showers, sauna-like rooms... Luckily Berlin is a great city and other hostels had a lot of fun, non-exclusive social things happening, so me and my group were still able to enjoy our time in Berlin thoroughly.

We stayed 4 days in the Pangea Hostel with 8 people. The room was very nice, the people who worked in the hotel to, always nice and helpful. Also the showers were clean every hour of the day we used them. It was an amazing place to stay for a really good price!!

Room was lovely but the bathrooms are communal and therefore this let the place down. Quite close to Alexanderplatz station which is easy to get too. Decent beer hall a few buildings down which is well worth a visit

The hostel was not really a hostel, more of a youth hotel. A lot of kids under 20 and no cohesive atmosphere

The beds were nice and the rooms weren't bad, they had good size lockers. The showers were awful, flooded really badly and no hot water at all! The staff at the front desk weren't helpful and reluctant to talk much. But there was one lady up at the bar that was really nice. The drinks at the bar are reasonable prices. This is more of a hotel then a hostel, hoping to meet fellow travellers but was put in a room with young lads on a boozing trip to Berlin, so didn't sleep much.

Good hostel, the staff was nice and the rooms clean. Very good location. The only drawbacks were that water was sometimes cold, and the magnetic stripe cards often didn't work.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. The shower temperature varied wildly and was typically cold. Also had to pay for WiFi - only 1 euro but ththe psychological effect is far moe negative than charging a lilittle extra for the bwd in general.

The shower floor and the bathroom is always wet, and it's a bad thing that they charge you for the Internet and the towels!

Loved the location and thought the beds were comfy. These were the only good attributes of the hostel and most of the negatives derive primarily from the staff. The blonde bar tender was quite possibly the rudest "professional" we have witnessed as she messed us around continually when it came to ordering food, laughing and making sly remarks to other staff members and even clients. The women on the desk was also extremely rude and had no helpful info when asked. Poor and unprofessional service

The area has lots of shops but lacks bars/restaurants/clubs so we had to travel to this (about 15 euro taxi to the clubbing area). The hostel itself was very clean and the rooms a spacious size. The showers were always totally flooded due to a design fault. You had to pay 1 euro for 24h of wifi which seemed a bit of a cheek. There were no facilities to cook or even make a cup of tea unlike most hostels, especially for this price. It lacked a communal area where you could have pre drinks.

breakfast is too expensive, bar closes at 12, few plug sockets in room.

The staff was awesome, answered every question I had and helped me out tremendously.

Very small room for 6 people, poor atmosphere and not enough power plugs in the room (only two for six people, barely reachable). Music in the lounge too loud.
