Very good location but you need to pay for every extra service like wifi, towels, etc.. Showers are not that great (no place to put your stuff, not regolable water, not stable water temperature)..

The hostel has a good location, is easy to find, safe and clean, the staff were nice. Anyway if you want to socialize with other travellers, I would not recommend it too much. There was hot water in the showers only at some parts of the day (usually evenings) and the hairdryers on some floors were out of order, but that's not an issue for me. BUT what I really did not like was the fact that there is no shared kitchen, not even a fridge to store your groceries. Big mistake!

I have probably been very lucky with all of the hostels that I have stayed in during my life but I can honestly say that this was the worst for the following reasons: - Rude staff - Flooded and dirty bathrooms - Intermittent hot water - WiFi that did not work - Poor hostel atmosphere (much more like a hotel) Luckily I have a friend in Berlin and was able to check out after only 1 night!!

The wifi did not work. And I think it was not the first time they had this problem. The water in the showers was sometimes cold, something that makes perfect sense in winter.

it was a nice stay but the hostel is getting a bit worn down. I was here 2 years ago and it was beautiful, so i made sure to return. Now it's getting old and isn't very nice. For the same money i will stay somewhere else next time. the shower was awful. No hot water any of the time, day or night and it was pretty dirty. but the desk staff was nice. cleaning staff was the same mean ladies i remember from two years ago lol

Very nice hostel and good location right in the middle of the city centre. Breakfast was available for 5€ and was delicious. The hostel was very clean too.

Really average hostel, dosn't have a great vibe, but its clean, beds are comfy, the dorms have big windows and dont get too hot at night. i didnt encounter any rudeness from staff, but they wernt friendly, just not real hospitality people, wasnt a problm for me though. its really close to mitte and a bunch of really great places to eat / shop, and really close to a main station, so you can pretty much get anywhere quite quickly. its average, not great, not bad.

Inconsistent water supply in the showers, unfriendly and unhelpful staff.

It's more like hotel. So huge and impersonal. If you expect the great atmosphere or to save some money preparing your own meals it is not a place for you. There is no kitchen or even a kettle. The quality of the WIFI is really poor even though you need to pay for it additionally. However, the location is great and the staff is really helpful.

Just as I had hoped. Good location, nice beds, silent, good facilities. Good lockers (bring your own lock!) in the rooms, no problems. Flexible staff.

This Isn't a hostel Its a Hotel with bunk beds. I got stuck there with what felt like 100 tween school kids. No common Area WTF is that about. The only place to hang out is in the bar were the drinks are overpriced. I didnt like that you couldnt bring your own alcohol in the hostel and that there was no kitchen so you were pretty well forced into buying takeout food or buying food from the bar.

Rooms were big and clean, but very hot and could only open the window very slightly. Not very sociable, no one was ever in the bar.

Some small details decide about the greatness of hostel. In general very nice hostel, but things as: not - always - working magnetic cards, absolutely no info about parking places could be improved.

PangeaPeople sits roughly 1.5 miles along the road from Brandenburg gate. A 5 minute walk from Alexanderplatz train station. The hostel itself is nice, got a warm welcome and we were efficiently checked in and direct to our room. We were in a 6 bed mixed dorm which was spacious as you would need had private lockers. Unfortunately the room was incredible hot and the windows would only open a fraction which made sleeping difficult. Which was such a shame for what is otherwise a lovely hostel!

Located near Alexanderplatz, this hostel was a very good surprise. I want to highlight the confortable beds, the cleaned rooms and the staff who were very friendly and helpful. There´s also a bar in the 5th floor where you can play pool or have a few beers at low prices. The only downside was the internet access in their own computers, the wi-fi worked well.

I had a fantastic stay at Pangea people! The staff were really nice and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and the wifi worked really well! The bar had a great atmosphere and the food and drinks were cheap! Loved it!

Everything was good, except for the light in the room that was not working and also the showers never got hot water.
