The one female bartender got angry at me and my friends for using the communal pool table because she wanted to use it... This is while she was on shift serving drinks at the bar. Was also just generally very rude. Zero customer service whatsoever. And zero social atmosphere, gross showers, sauna-like rooms... Luckily Berlin is a great city and other hostels had a lot of fun, non-exclusive social things happening, so me and my group were still able to enjoy our time in Berlin thoroughly.

Room was lovely but the bathrooms are communal and therefore this let the place down. Quite close to Alexanderplatz station which is easy to get too. Decent beer hall a few buildings down which is well worth a visit

The beds were nice and the rooms weren't bad, they had good size lockers. The showers were awful, flooded really badly and no hot water at all! The staff at the front desk weren't helpful and reluctant to talk much. But there was one lady up at the bar that was really nice. The drinks at the bar are reasonable prices. This is more of a hotel then a hostel, hoping to meet fellow travellers but was put in a room with young lads on a boozing trip to Berlin, so didn't sleep much.

Good hostel, the staff was nice and the rooms clean. Very good location. The only drawbacks were that water was sometimes cold, and the magnetic stripe cards often didn't work.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. The shower temperature varied wildly and was typically cold. Also had to pay for WiFi - only 1 euro but ththe psychological effect is far moe negative than charging a lilittle extra for the bwd in general.

The shower floor and the bathroom is always wet, and it's a bad thing that they charge you for the Internet and the towels!

Loved the location and thought the beds were comfy. These were the only good attributes of the hostel and most of the negatives derive primarily from the staff. The blonde bar tender was quite possibly the rudest "professional" we have witnessed as she messed us around continually when it came to ordering food, laughing and making sly remarks to other staff members and even clients. The women on the desk was also extremely rude and had no helpful info when asked. Poor and unprofessional service

The area has lots of shops but lacks bars/restaurants/clubs so we had to travel to this (about 15 euro taxi to the clubbing area). The hostel itself was very clean and the rooms a spacious size. The showers were always totally flooded due to a design fault. You had to pay 1 euro for 24h of wifi which seemed a bit of a cheek. There were no facilities to cook or even make a cup of tea unlike most hostels, especially for this price. It lacked a communal area where you could have pre drinks.

breakfast is too expensive, bar closes at 12, few plug sockets in room.

The staff was awesome, answered every question I had and helped me out tremendously.

Very small room for 6 people, poor atmosphere and not enough power plugs in the room (only two for six people, barely reachable). Music in the lounge too loud.

Quite tricky to find with the instructions and lack of wifi, but friendly staff, nice rooms with lots of friendly other people staying!

Very nice place with a friendly staff and with an awesome location in Alexanderplatz, it is very close to the public transports. Also the beds are big and the hostel is very clean. There are lockers in the room (this is very positive) and you don`t have to pay for the bed clothes.
