Stay at PangeaPeople! I and two friends had a very clean, safe stay. It Rooms = very clean, spacey, large lockers Bathrooms = spacious, clean (but the towels were tiny) Location = great! Right on Alexanderplatz, by U and S Bahn, nice restaurants, fast food Front desk and bar waitress were very helpful with suggestions on what to do at night We had absolutely NO complaints. Definitely staying here again the next time we're in Berlin!

The facilities are great! Amazing location, cleanliness, etc. Only complaint was that our floor was flooded with people who had been out drinking late at night making lots of noise in the hallway and nobody asked them to be quiet or relocate. The bar and breakfast buffet were great and reasonably priced, tho. Overall, If I were returning to Berlin, I'd be more likely to aim for another hostel just because I prefer to sleep earlier than the rest of the clientele here did.

Clean hostel with absolotely no charme. The rooftop bar is not really nice (a lot of good ideas, e.g. dart, billard but everything is broken), the drinks are terrible and they weren't allowed to play music at 9 in the evening... I was not very pleased with the stay, I hoped there was a lot more... Wouldn't recommend

Very good for the price. Clean and nice facilitated rooms and showers. Very close to Alexander Platz and other cool areas and sights. The breakfast buffet is really nice and there is a cozy bar on the top. People in my dorm were not very social but it might just have been bad luck. Would definitely recommend the hostel!

We'd been recommended this hostel by a couple of friends so maybe had a little high expectations, the hostel was nice except for the crazy drunk in our room. Most of the staff were friendly except the guy we checked out with who was very dismissive. Good value for money as the location is perfect for site seeing/going out at night.

Excellent. Really can't fault on any level.

Great hostel but ooks like a hotel, have no personality, no partying. Good breakfast(paid)

Wifi is very bad, considering you have to pay 1 euro whereas in other hostels it is free and better.

Brilliant hostel for amount you pay, the bar was awesome... really really cheap food and beer. The only bad thing I can think of is the showers, which flooded really really quickly! otherwise brilliant :)

The cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in!

It's like a copy-cat of Wombats. But Pangea doesn't deliver the finishing pieces. Two examples: cold water showers (don't like that surprise in the morning after a night out), buffe at NYE, it was a joke come on 2 hot dishes filled bell peppers and chicken curry (also a veggie version for vegitarians), 1 soup and only a vanilla pudding (or a really bad pannacotta) and a donut for dessert. It costed only 9,5 € so what to expect. You could have had it so: Start over and do it right.

Do yourself a favour- stay at St Christopher's around the corner instead!! Pangea People is a joke.We stayed over the New Years period so we expected to be paying premium rates. But for the service we got it was appalling. Our room had a HORRIBLE smell & they refused to try and accomodate us elsewhere, then when they did they tried charging us for the price of 2 rooms?! That guy with the short beard is rude, and basically said 'it's a hostel,what do you expect'. Wouldn't wish this on an enemy.

It was a terrific stay at PangeaPeople Hostel. Location fantastic! Staff as well! Modern baths. Just missed having a kitchen to cook a cup of tea or pasta in the evening. I am not into drinking so the bar did not meet my needs. Certainly, I recommend this hostel!
