Friendly staff, great location near the Mezquita. Beds were comfortable and area was safe, though the rooms had no heating, so it was quite cold in the winter time. Showers were warm though. For the price, it was great.

the staff was super helpful in pointing out things on the map. the location is great. we stayed in a private double on the ground level, though, and were warned that two people had been robbed who left their stuff near the open window, but we didn't have any problems & just made sure not to leave valuables in a visible place. comfortable and very economical experience.

This was a good place to stay, considering the price and that you get a private room. This place does not have a hostel atmosphere so dont stay here if that is what you are after. It also does not include breakfast and the people who run the hostel do not speak english. Also on the website it says parking, however they do not have private parking as we thought. However we did find free parking very close by and it was safe. Overall great value for money.

We rent a small room with four beds for economic reasons. If we had known how small actually it is, I'm sure we would have been willing to spend on it a bit more. Anyway, it was our choice, and we enjoyed the stay.

Super-cute hostel. Our room wasn't really big - but what else do you need next to a nice bed? It was extremely clean, rather walked around on my bare feet than in my flipflops.. the owners live there as well so be prepared for the typical noises a little kid makes at 8.30 in the morning.

Loved this atmospheric, typically Andalucian courtyard home, and you probably can't be much closer to the Mesquita. We found the family who run the pension very pleasant. Our room was miniature, but if you're like us and are looking for something budget-priced and with a bit of character close to where the action is you can't go far wrong. There was a bit of noise, but close the window and put the air conditioning on or pop in a pair of earplugs and a good night's sleep will be yours.

Exactly within the old city centre with the main sights of the city (mosque, tower, Alkazar, old city wall, museums) only a few walking minutes away. Quite anyway, because in a small side street. Very nice, clean and cheap accomodation with individual air conditioning. Managed by a nice - though only spanish speeking - woman, who also gave us some hints, for example where to eat (and we loved the restaurant, it was great).

The room was very clean! There was no kitchen so we had to have all our meals out. Our room was on the ground floor with a window looking into the lobby(?)our common washroom had an tinted window looking into the lobby(be sure to pull the shade for your shower!!! The location was excellent. It was unlike any other youth hostel we stayed in...no commom room, no kitchen, no internet...(It is not a hostel...it is a Pension) IT IS A VERY CLEAN ROOM TO LAY YOUR HEAD...SEE CORDOVA AND MOVE ON.

A great location in the historic quarter and a good price. If you add a real hassle free attitude (they give you the keys upon arrival and you're done within seconds) and the excellent cleanliness you should be happy with the value for money.

Our room was great - very tidy, cleaned every day and with fantastic air conditioning (a lifesaver in Cordoba in August). We had our own keys to get into the Pension as and when we wished. It´s perfectly located right in the historic centre of town. The only downside here was that it is more of a hotel so it would be hard to meet other travellers. There is no communal area and no cooking facilities.

Pension Cibeles was a great hostel to stay at! It was right next to the Mezquita and really easy to get to. The owners are super nice & treat you like a true guest at the hostel! They took the time to give us their favorite restaurant and local events going on. :) It was a quiet and quaint little hostel with it's own character decorated very simply yet authentic :) I would definitely recommend staying here!

We were four friends travelling together on a random trip around Spain. We did not know anything about Cordoba and the sweet people running the pension gave us a few tips on where to eat dinner and breakfast and where to go out at night. Not normal for us we decided to follow the suggestions and was very surprised to find that all suggestions given were excellent and out of the ordinary turisty stuff. So it is with our highest regards that we recommend this to other travellers.
