This hostel is so comfortable for me. If I have a opportunity to go to Singapore, I want to stay here again!!

My 2nd. stay at River city inn. Excellent location, close to mrt, Chinatown, Boat and Clark Quay. Nice and welcoming staff that keep the hostel clean and tidy. Good bunk bed, and I specially like that they have some curtain on the bed so you can have some sort of privacy when sleeping.

Great place to be, very clean, helpful staff. Was surprised about the 24-bed dorm - it was really pretty calm and with aircon and windows it was a very good night. Breakfast is Hostelstyle, so do not expect to much, but all in all this hostel for this price in this location is hard to beat.

Same good quality as last time.1 guest wrecked a toilet sliding door during my stay (miscalculation? really? you see the door frame & track panels and it's obvious the door slides, right?) jackie/nikolai/valentin weren't on duty but henry & adrian were great the whole time.hi-quality air processing filter at the Inn kills germs, removes odours & assures good sleep.toilets/showers located by sunny window shutters = no mildew on tiles/odours dissipated by fresh air.Read all info found on RCI page.

the location is great! my issue is only because they are in the 4th floor (without lift or escalator) and I was quite hard to carry my big bag the first time I arrived there.. but the rest of the quality of this hostel is perfect! I left at hostel early dawn and was easy tho to find taxi because around the hostel there's pub and bar..

Great bed. Great facilities. Really clean and new. Awesome staff. Great people. Perfect location right in the center, where everything is close by. Definitely the best place I stayed throughout my 6 week trip.

This is a strong competitor for my favourite hostel in Asia. I've stayed a few in Singapore this is my favourite. A small family run hostel. I've stayed in the 20 and the 6 both were easily to sleep in, the 6 probably a bit better.Free tea coffee at all times, and breakfast. Well located at the lovely Clarke Quay. Brilliantly easy to meet people, and has a friendly vibe. Alcohol is allowed but people tend to quietly have a few in the social area, so others can sleep/relax if they want. Brilliant

I was iffy about a 26-bed dorm but it was surprisingly quiet and as mentioned by other reviewers: the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location between the Clarke Quay and Raffle's Place is perfect. The only downside of this place is it fills up so make sure you reserve ahead: I saw a few people turned away. Also: choose this hostel to relax, not to party, and you won't be disappointed.

Well organized, very proffessional staff. Excellent option.

This was my second stay at the River City Inn. The hostel is on the 3rd floor of the building, there is no elevator available. So be prepared for a sweaty climb. The owner of the hostel was not so welcome at the beginning,but the other staff was more than helpful and extremely friendly. The room I was in, was a little bit cramped, with no natural light. The bathrooms were small but clean. The next time I will come to Singapore, I will certainly stay at the River City Inn again.

A charming and very genuinely hospitable staff made this first encounter with Singapore a welcome and relaxing experience. I appreciated all the touches to the space that lent it its character, creative and resourceful sound design choices. See you again!
