Rivoli Cinema Hostel Reviews

The hostel has a lot of very good points: nice staff, excellent location, very good service for breakfast, roof terrasse The hostel theme (cinema) is well developped : name rooms, poster, movies to watch. BUT The room i've sleeped in was very poorly soundproofed. As many people were hanging around in the night, i didn' sleep very well (pretty badly actually). So if you want to be sure of having of good rest in Porto, don't come to Rivoli hostel. I you want to have fun, go straight there !

Everything was just great! Had a really good time there!

The only problem I found was the lack of real hot water.

The place is in the city centre so everywhere we go it was so close, staff are very helpfull and cheerful for us, and the hostel was clean, nice and friendly for people. We really enjoyed our visit, when we'll back in Porto, for sure we'll choose the same place!

Perfect location, perfect condition, friendly staff. During a hot day in the middle of the day, we came back home just to hang out at the hostel, watched tv and surf the internet, took a nap and went out again. Simply awesome!

Great hostel that I have ever stayed in europe!!!!!!

It located very near historical spots. You can go Clerigos, S.Bento station, Se, etc,.on foot. Everything is good, but my stays in Porto, it was cold little bit.

This 3 days were very nice. Small animations every evening, and the staff was very cool and helping us in any case.

It is a good hostel. The staff are very friendly and the location is ok although I prefer quieter places. Despite the hostel location, there is no noise from the street (just from the young guests arriving in the middle of night... definitely is a young hostel). The breakfest is simple but very very good, with juice, cereals, breads, cakes... I recommend.

Really great hostel! I seldomly give 100% - but this place is superclean, has great included breakfast, fanstasic staff, comfy beds, is bang in that great city of Porto etc etc Hope to come back soon.

This hostel is just great! The location was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and friendly! The room was pretty clean and the breakfast was try good. I definitely recommend it, totally worth the price, I will go back for sure...

Best hostel in the world !! People are sooo nice and the hostel is really perfect. There is every things that you want. It's clean and the bed was really confortable. It's my favorite hostel ever ! If I go back at Porto, I'll go there for sure.

This hostel's interior is very unique so it's funny. Staff is also very kind and the fare is quite reasonable. But it's not easy to find hostel building because it has no sign.

Really lovely helpful friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable hostel (both communal areas and beds) and great decor (love the cinema theme). The only thing I would point out is the need to replace the broken lock in one shower stall (important as the showers are unisex). Everything else was just great.
