One of the best hostels I have stayed in. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, and they offer plenty of things to do like a free walking tour (Harriet is lovely) and dinner (Paulo is also lovely). The location is right by Sol. Incredibly clean. They had lockers in the room I stayed in which was great for peace of mind.

In a mixed room as the only female in a room full of men, not very mixed. Were extremely noisy guys too, well past the cut off of 11pm and before 7am. The lock on the shower door did not work. Really resented having to pay 2euros, twice - once for turning up early and once to leave bags post check out - so 4euros total, for a luggage storage room. And in addition it was a very unsecure system - they don't give u any tags and let u fetch the bag yourself so you could walk away with anyone's bag.

You never really know what you're going to find at the hostel you've booked but I was more than pleased with room007 Ventura hostel. Friendly, accommodating staff. Clean rooms with ensuite bathroom facilities. Fantastic location. Overall, great weekend in Madrid!

I really liked the whole design, room was bright and clean, dorm big and comfortable enough for 8-people and the bed was very comfortable, which was great. Good central location. Maybe a short remark - I didn't find time to check the website so I didn't read that there was the attic lounge area with a kitchen. Since at the check-in no one mentioned it to me I assumed there was no kitchen and I can only eat at the restaurant. Would be a very handy info

We stayed in a 4 bed girl dorm for 3 nights. The room itself was very newly renovated and clean, but very tiny. The hostel is located very well, just a few minuted walk from Puerta Del Sol, Gran Via and some great food places like Museo Del Jamon. The hostel offers many many activities and the staff comes to personally inform you about them to your dorm. All in all it was a great stay and i would definitely recommend staying here. Great value for your money!

Was a very nice hostel! Very clean, and the staff was very friendly! Harriet was a great tourguide, as well! My only issue with the hostel was that it was VERY loud for an hour or so around 4 am when people were coming home from going out.

Traveling alone?! Forget about it! Not a good place to find other travelers and make new friends.... On the other hand the location is pretty good.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostal. It has a very nice location, the living space was very nice, with a fussball table, computer and space to hang out. I specially liked that there were activities like the free drinking games. I recommend staying there

Overall i had a good stay in Ventura 007, however i thought the hostel lacked of a good common area. even though there is a kitchen and an open terraza on the last floor, the space is not very used and, as an alone traveller, I didn't think that it was easy to meet other travelers. The staff, however, was excellent. I had some problems with my luggage (lost my keys) and they were really helpful and opened it for me.

Loved this hostel! The staff were great and have events every night to ensure guests have a great time. There is a beautiful restaurant attached to the hostel. It's got a very interesting design, and the rooms are clean and impressive. The location of the hostel is great. Overall, really good experience. Would totally recommend!

Very cool atmosphere, with a chalkboard stairwell with writing from guests, an adorable restaurant downstairs, a nice terrace/hangout area upstairs, plenty of activities, and cute clean rooms. This place is right in between the Prado and Gran Via and right next to the Puerta Del Sol.

Room007 is a really good hostel. Great rooms, facilities, great staff, activities almost everyday, WiFi throughout the whole hostel. The restaurant is a must, it's actually really good food and the "Menu del Dia" is like 10 Euros for a 3 course meal, plus wine and orange juice? Yes Thank You! Staff organizes great stuff, Tapas all you can eat for 10 Euros, Yes Please! Good spacious rooms. Oh and it's very close to the station Puerta del Sol. Only bad thing is there is basically NO KITCHEN.

What a great hostel this is...Great location and new and modern facilities..The staff were amazing and very engaging with the guests and couldn't do enough with advice and queries.I watched each time new guests came in and how attentive they were. Can't fault them and the activities and deals they had from pub crawls to tapas tasting...Thanks guys for a great time; can't wait for my next visit..

This hostel was really nice and had a great energy. I stayed here with a few other friends, and it's in a great location: super close to Puerto del Sol, the Prado and other museums, and tons of great bars and restaurants. It was clean, tidy, and the staff was friendly.

This hostel is a good place if you are travelling alone and looking to meet others. There was a social area but no one really hung out there and if you were up there having a good time you got shut down at 11. There were also school groups staying there and made us kind of uneasy as we were storing our alcohol in the fridge in the social area where the kids are allowed. No alcohol aloud in the rooms either btw. No laundry on site either and short food menu.

Charging for breakfast was a huge disappointment as Spanish breakfast is not substantial and the quality was lacking. I have traveled all over the world and never had to pay for breakfast at a hostel as was always included in the price.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Great fun joining up with other hostels for walking tours and pub crawls (as nobody else from this specific hostel joined in)

Great hostel, great location, great infrastructure! The activities are awsome, did the walking tour (with Harriet) and loved it!
