An awesome hostel to stay at! The staff are so friendly and helpful was like being at home. So many movies to choose from on a rainy day! Will definitely be back!

Amazing central city location, walking distance to supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the bus terminal is right across the road. Recently redecorated, great facilities. Excellent staff. I recommend to everyone - I will definitely stay here on my return.

Really loved our stay at this hostel. The staff was awesome - really nice and helpful with both suggesting things to do and making arrangements for us to do the things they suggested. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and we were close to everything that we wanted to do in Rotorua. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, walking distance to the main strip, lake, and bus stop. Beds are extremely hard! The bathrooms/toilets were clean and facilities were good enough. Good value for money.

The beds are hard as planks and you don't get a good sheet to cover them so everyone 'll end up half-sleeping on the bare mattresses, not very hygienic. Facilities are fine, television has many many movies for a rainy day, but service is not all that. Our booking hadn't come through correctly from Hostelworld and they made us walk back and forth between people and re-explain and re-explain even though it was not our fault and honestly their problem, but once it was all settled they were nice.

The kitchen was too small and the private doblebed room has no window and smells so bad because of the new materials and no ventilation. They charged me for using credit card more than other hostels.

Great hostel, one hour free wifi, clean and staff were great. Lots of movies on the TV but no free daytime parking.

Wonderful place! Walter and the team made everyone feel so welcome. Bathrooms are clean as is everywhere else. The only downside is that the beds are rock solid but apart from that I have nothing negative to say. Just a lot of superlatives.
