You have to know that the price that is shown you when you book is not the real price. If you aren't member of Hi hostel, you have to pay 50 SEK per person, per night more, if you don't have sheets and towels with you, you have to pay 50 SEK per person more and if you don't want to clean your room when you leave, you have to pay other 50 SEK per person, for a maximum of 200 SEK per room. Breakfast is not inlcuded. If you want to have breakfast, you have to pay 50 SEK per person, per day more.

Hostelworld tells you a price which is not correct, we had to pay 670 kr and ended up paying 1400 because we are not members of hostelling international, bed sheets and breakfast. Its 50 kr each if you don't clean the room.Transparency with prices should be a hostel first priority. Also, we were 4 but we made 2 separate reservations, 1 for 2 beds in a dorm and 1 for a double room. Upon arrival we asked if we could be all together, answer no and then the double room had 4 beds!come on!flexibility!

This was booked initially for 7 days as I had to look for a room in Goteborg. I escaped after 2!!! No internet x me as I hadn't my own PC but there was more to run away for. The first night I went to toilet late and noticed somebody sleeping in the kitchen! The morning after I reported it to reception and dinner seemed to solve the mistery. In the kitchen a lady looking like a fortune teller was cooking for a group of men with big moustaches. Nice people, but really looking like..

Pretty decent HI hostel, clean with a good kitchen. It is about a 45 minute walk from the train station, but not too bad by tram (to be fair, I couldn't find any hostels that are a close walk in Gothenburg). Breakfast is pretty basic, and as per most Scandinavian hostels, bed sheets and towels are extra. Good WiFi signal in the common room, and good security although the lockers aren't in the guest rooms.

I didn't like the fact that I had to pay 100 kr extra than what I settled for when I booked the room because of some 'you're not a member' rubbish. The room was ok, but the bathrooms had no hand dryers and instead they had put one single towel for everyone (it was noted that it's temporary). The room was ok and fairly clean, the beds were ok too. Good for a night's sleep but I wouldn't say the deal was a great one.

Hi Omid, Sorry to hear that you missed the note about the fee you need to pay for non members. The note is before you make the booking here on hostelworld.com. The dryers are now on place! Kind regards Anna-Karin
