No complain, other than the fact that this place was quite pricey. I guess 20+euro/night is normal for Barcelona. Great common area. Luis one of the guys who works there, made excellent pasta and was super helpful

Excellent! It was great to be there! Cacau a beautiful person! It was lovely to know her! :D and Hernán too... The only comment is that the guy that was at night when I left told me badly about the taxis and I had to spend to much to go to the aiport... he should get informed! Excelente! Fue muy bueno pasar allí... Cacau es una hermosa persona y fue hermoso conocerla y a Hernán también! :D. El único comentario es que el chico que estaba en la noche luego de que me fui me informó mal del taxi.

We had a great time at Mambo Tango, Barcelona being one of the highlights of our trip! The staff were fantastic, always very friendly and willing to help with any questions. The facilities were always very clean. The atmosphere and nightly activities were what made it such a fun place to stay. We loved the sangria night(perhaps a little too much) and the tapas night was a good introduction to Spanish food. If you get the chance ask Luiz to play for you, he is an amazing guitarist! Thanks guys!

I had a great stay at MamboTango. Situated near the metro station, nice quarter with many nice tapas places. i was travelling alone, but never felt alone. The atmosphere is so friendly there, and many things organised for you to enjoy. Great Great staff : Cacau welcomed me and make me feel like i was at home. Hernan..so funny guy, and Luiz so sweeet! Muito Obrigada guys for these two days! Very clean place also. I would say that is a place both to party but quiet at the same time. See you then

We had an enjoyable at the Mambo Tango. Cocoa (I hope this is right??) at the desk was really lovely, as was all of the staff, as everyone before has said. The hostel is in a great area, close to lots of lively, affordable bars and tapas places, as well as within walking distance of central destinations. Very friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

My stay at Sant Jordi Mambo Tango was definitely made by the wonderful service of Hernán - such caring, helpful and lively service! A brilliant location, within nice walking distance of the centre, with a very convenient metro stop and on charming little street around lots of cafe options. Clean and comfortable rooms and a great common area. Also very helpful and accommodating when it comes to leaving bags and organise activities.

We had originally booked a sant jordi hostel by la rambla and were disappointed when they relocated us to the location by the sagrada familia. Metro stops running at midnight and it is a 3 mile walk from the beach. Modern hostel, not having anything to do with Barcelona culture, but the facilities were clean and the hostel extremely safe. Would stay at the chain of hostels again, just not in this location.

I had a great time at mambo tango , it's my fourth time here as its a really good hostel. I also stayed at the sant jordi sagreda familia hostel on this visit to Barca, another great hostel, livelier, and with great staff too. I'll be back in September.

It is a nice hostel, warm people, nice facilities, and nearly the metro station and the famous street(La Rambla). I can go there for some fun even in the midnight. One word, it is quite a nice place.

This hostel was very clean! The beds are comfortable and the water is very hot. The downstairs lounge area is very nice, cool atmosphere. And the staff is very helpful and full of information. The only thing I would rate less is the kitchen. Very small and can't fit more than 2 people: and since breakfast isn't provided it can get busy.

I really enjoyed my time at this hostel. The staff were very friendly and offered a lot of tips on top places to eat and see during my two days in Barcelona. The only thing they need to change is to offer free breakfast to guests. This will make it a GREAT hostel. :)

We couldn't imagine better place to stay for us than Mambo Tango hostel!!! Though we were staying there only one night, we can honestly say THIS PLACE IS AWESOME The staff is extremely nice - they always try to make sure that guests feel comfortable and they organize some really good parties. A special thank you to Hernan, who let us know his magic lentils recipe! Our stay in Barcelona was so memorable among because of Mambo Tango's atmosphere! We will definitely go back one day!
