Of the hostels I've stayed in throughout southern Europe, Sant Jordi Mambo Tango is easily the best. The rooms and facilities were quite nice, but more importantly, the staff was excellent. They were very friendly and accommodating and facilitated my friends and I meeting some very cool people.

Amazing atmosphere and great staff. Super clean and when my passport was stolen at the beach everyone was so helpful and friendly. If you stay in Barcelona I wouldn´t stay anywhere else :)

The hostel is very well located, near to the city center and the beach. The facilities are neat and in order. The best thing about this place by far is the staff, always so helpful and nice, either to give you hints about Barcelona as to create the perfect enviroment to mingle and meet new people. Definetely a place to come back!! Thank you so much Cacao, Dani, Giorgia and Dixon for all your simpathy and disposition!!

the hostel had an awesome energy about it! Daniel was super funny and made the experience very comfortable for me and my friend. I really enjoyed staying there!! its not far from the beach at all but it is a bit of a walk from the main attractions but barcelona is so big! its right next to a metro station so you can get anywhere you need to within a decent amount of time! great experience though!

I had heaps of fun at this hostel. The staff were for the most part very friendly. The nightly activities made it really easy to meet people and have a bit of fun. The rooms were a bit squishy but quite clean. The kitchen is also a bit small. Heaps of movies so you can chill out and relax if you want to. Overall a very good hostel. I would recommend it to others.

The personnel there are real people and were so nice and helpful. One of the nights I was there Luis cooked dinner which was delicious. The place was absolutely spotless as well on account of their cleaning it well every day. All in all great place to stay in bcn. Sin duda la gente que trabaja aqui fue la mas agradable, abierta y divertido de todos los hostales que me alojaban durante mi viaje por espana. Tiene buen caracter y mantiene un atmosfera bien relajada y limpia tambien!

One of the best hostels I have stayed in so far, and would highly reccomend for solo travelers. All the staff are AMAZING- friendly, funny and super helpfull. The hostel has a great family/homel feel with an intimate common room area with couches/bean bags and dining table. Each night there is an organised activity you can join in like a pub crawl, pasta night or tapas. Hostel is less than 5 min walk from metro and easy to get to all the main sights.
