No real problems other that the rooms were squishy! The beds were good and each bed had its own power outlet, light and shelf which was FANTASTIC. Showers were great as was wifi. Staff got a bit "handsy" on one occassion but not to me personally. I thought the staff was great other than the party guy who was overbearing and difficult to talk on topics other than drinking and partying (go figure). Cool atmosphere and nice kitchen. Location isn't central, but metro is cheap

This hostel is supper clean and lively. There is definitely a party atmosphere here so if you are looking to go out and have fun this is your place as they take you to a different bar and club each night. If you are looking for a quiet nights sleep try somewhere else because you will not get it here

The place to be. Really good everything, the only problem is that they Don't let you control the lights of your own room (Why????) but everything else is impeccable, a really great experience.

The place to be. Beautiful, clean and funcional place, not expensive and full od character. Only 2 little issues: The room lights ( THEY DONT LET YOU CONTROL YOUR OWN ROOM LIGHTS) and the fact that the hostel is a 100% free-smoking environment (even on the terrace). Instead of that, probably the best hostel I ever been to. I strongly recommend.

I loved the place! The only thing is that breakfast is not included and that my food got stolen (not there fault of course)! Beside that amazing stay!

Horrible. Without warning they moved our things to another room (yes, they went into our lockers and moved our things). In the process of them shoving our clothes into our bags they crushed a lot of our things- even some souvenirs! And when we got in and found we had been moved, they only staff person working was either drunk or stoned or both and didn't even care. Besides this it is in a horrible neighbor. Never stay here! Worst hostel ever! They should be shut down!

I slept 2 nights at SJ Sagrada Familia after having spent my 2 first days at Hostel One Paralelo. Sant Jordi is big, industrial, and charmless. The rooms are clean, and so are the bathrooms. But the atmosphere is really cold, people surprisingly young (I'm mean rrreally young), and there is no charm to the place whatsoever. I sincerely recommend to anyone interested in staying in a real nice hostel to look at HostelOne Paralelo - unquestionably the best hostel in town. My 2 cents.

Very nice hostel, clean and safe. The Staff was polite and commited. They suggests partys and tours around the city. I would come back there if i go to Barcelona again.

Although the hostel may not be right in the center of Barcelona, it is an awesome place to meet people. I was traveling alone before meeting up with some friends and I was able to meet so many great people. The hostel also has several options for the evenings. You can go out with a group of people from the hostel (organized by a staff member) or you can stay in and hang out: cooking dinner in the community kitchen or watching a movie in the lounge. I definitely recommend this hostel!
