We arrived and they weren't expecting us, but were still able to accommodate us. When we first used the kitchen it was rather greasy under foot, but this didn't reoccur throughout the rest of the four nights. The heating was on very rarely, but aside from that we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

Not many hostels on Isle of skye to choose from but i would definitely recommed it. Pretty decent rooms, a small kitchen and clean showers. Within the hostel facilities there is very nice and cosy pub (the only one in the village!!! with cheap drinks triple whiskey and coke for 4.50 quid!) and a small convenient store.

This was a great value hostel with an awesome bar below that had great live music and Scottish dancing! The bar staff were really friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help us!

Very small kitchen for size, and food in attached excellent pub out of the average backpackers price range. But shop attached, which is great. The whole thing is a little cramped with a lack of public space so best used as a stopping place rather than for a prolonged stay. Lovely location with fantastic views and countryside, and bus service right outside the door.

They have really nice rooms and bathrooms, but there was NOTHING to do there. I mean, if you want to stay there, you must have a car, because everywhere was quite far from there to go by walk/bike and the bus service was not that good. The staff were not helpul/friendly at all, because they also have a bar/restaurant and a shop, so they were always busy. I don't recommend that place.

Good location, but the kitchens were not very usefull - one was out of order and the other was very small and it took quite some time for the stove elements to heat up. Annoying, since there were only 2 restaurants open at the time. Staff is situated in another building, so little securtiy. Otherwise, fairly clean and its part of the pub, so theres entertainment at night.

The place isn't cosy, but okay to stay for a night if there is no other place to stay. The kitchen is just too small and not really clean. There are nicer places for less money.

We'll definetely will never go there again. The whole place gave us the impression of not being well-kept with much 2 thin walls.
