The entire place stunk! The kitchen was filthy and even the pans in the cupboards were coated in stale food! The sheets & bedding stank like it had ot been washed and the toilets were always dirty and influshed. I would not recommend and never stay again. Worse place I've stayed in 6yrs of traveling.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The facilities are minimal and slightly dirty. There isn't anywhere to lock your bag up. Also, transportation without a car is VERY limited. If you have a vehicle I would recomend this location, but if you don't I would not recomend you stay here.

The hostel was average, but its connection to Saucy Mary's Restaurant next door made it AMAZING. The food there was incredible, and the complementary breakfast offered by the hostel made the stay worth it many times over.

Staff cery friendly and location is ideal with a great view on the bridge and the canal. My only down side was probably the breakfast: Felt that we need to go because other guest were coming. Also eggs not well cooked but thats a detail.

Hotel location is very good, right at the water front. However, we haven't liked 3 things - 1. Reception is closed until late morning & in the evening, we couldn't get towels because of that. 2. Internet is too slow - you cannot just give excuse of location disadvantage and get rid of the responsibility. 3. Toilets and bath are stinky and suffocating.

Nice comfortable beds. Generally clean except one of the showers was a bit dirty and clogged. It was a good place to stay for one night. Good location with a very pretty view.

Saucy Mary's was an excellent hostel with very clear rooms and friendly staff. The pub was delightful with excellent breakfasts choices, and the dinners were good as well.

It's alright. That somes it up pretty much. Tbh skye is really expensive a B and B is not much more £ and you get breakfast.

Honestly, the worst hostel I have seen so far. The rooms had beds and that's it. I would have expected at least minimum standard of furniture; a cupboard or at least table or chair. But no, that would be too much of an expectation. Showers and kitchen again were below all standards: showers resembled metal crates with not even coat rack and some even without light. The kitchen was dingy and lacked all kinds of cooking utensils. If you have no other option than Saucy Mary's, BYO. NOT RECOMMENDED.

There is nothing terribly wrong with the hostel, it is clean and warm, however, you will only get a bed, no table, not even a hook for a coat in the room. The wifi is not great and unfortunately the kitchen closes exactly at 10 pm every daysomething that is really inconvenient for someone who likes to use the whole day for travelling.

Very recommendable.Cheap (for Scot standards), great location at the very entrance of the island, Kyleakin is a small town but the gate to a wonderful place.

The thing that we liked the most about the Hostel was the nearby Bar. However, our room had a sink and whenever anyone in the nearby room would use their's, ours made sounds as if there was a cousin of Loch Ness monster living in it. Not the most pleasant sound at 6 a.m. What is more, the girl at the reception was the one and only unpleasant person, that we met throughout the whole trip - could not advise any places to visit and was just plain unfriendly.

Great hostel, the owner was lovely and very helpful. Not centrally located for exploring Skye but you can't beat the views! Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bar/restaurant downstairs is great. Kitchens are small but didn't really require anything bigger.

Perfect for what it is, great base for driving around beautiful Skye. Obviously quite basic but clean and safe. The saucy marys pub was a cosy, friendly place for a little drink at the end of a busy day!

Bob and his team made us feel very welcome and very much at home during our stay, so much so we would've loved to stay on if plans weren't already made for further travels. Would definitely stay here again!

Thanks, everything was great and the staff was super friendly. Well, the location is slightly inconvenient for exploring Skye with public transport, but the hostel can hardly be blamed for that.
