The place is really nice. It's just like a normal house, cosy and all. The staff are nice and the bed are fine. I really enjoyed the place. One thing I didn't like and that you have to know : if you want to have breakfast it's an extra 2000 CH$ so your night is at 9000 CH $ more or less. They propose free pub crawls and a walking tour that I really recommend. Overall, this hostel was fine. It's clean, the staff are nice, it's not noisy, the location is good, etc.

Good location, not far to walk to bars or shops and only a few steps from the bus station. Free breakfast is great. Good wifi and the staff are so helpful. Great place to stay if your in Mendoza!

The hostel staff are not friendly, the location is awful, there is no free breakfast, you have to pay for the use of daily lockers after check out. The hostel does not have much going for itself other than the fact that it is clean, the hostel management and services could use some updating in order to better cater to its clients' needs.

Better than expected based on previous reviews! Breakfast was simple, but included pastries, juice, and coffee drinks both days. Closest hostel in Mendoza to the bus station, which makes it very convenient for travel into the mountains and to other cities but the area is not the best at night and we only felt safe once inside the hostel. It's a bit of a walk into the center of town but not too bad. Beds were incredibly comfortable and made every day. Limited bathroom access in the 12 bed room.

Savigliano Hostel served as a great home base. It is tranquil, quiet, clean, and welcoming. It's small and homey, and the round-the-clock staff were extremely helpful. The one thing that was slightly less than convenient was the location. It's about a 3 minute walk from the bus station, but a 15 minute walk to the center of town, and the neighborhood was sketchy at night. If you're looking for a small, peaceful hostel with both Argentines and foreigners, it's a good choice.

Located two minutes walk from the bus terminal. It has a front gate and lockers but bring your own padlock. Clean sheets, nice terrace with kitchen on the top floor and a small courtyard on the bottom floor. Favorable exchange rate if paying in pesos. Computers for use and decent Wifi. 10:00 checkout. I stayed in the 6 bed mixed room which wasn't too crowded.

Staff were generally unhelpful and was hard to get information from them, uncomfortable beds, shower was hot or cold. They charge you to stay in the hostel after checkout while waiting for your bus, no decent communal areas

Owner Comment (Show)
Hi, first of all, let me say that your comment is a bit strange, in no time you came to ask questions to the staff, even found a little odd that at no time will greet when you greeted in the morning. About the water, cold or hot> is very simple, if you regulate the water comes out warm. Normally we take review , but in this particular case I think that your criticism is wrong and very questionable to be on this page ... anyway, I wish you a good trip, and I hope that future criticisms do with a minimum of common sense.

Relaxing place to stay, close to the bus station and to the main street, thank you to all the staff.

We had a great time mostly due to people we met there. They nickel and dime you on little things. Payment is in us dollars and they have the right to dictate the exchange rate in pesos which goes with black market exchange rates. Not too honest as far as we are concerned, but after a short argument we got the proper nation exchange. That was a little weird as we do not exchange our usd at the black market.
