We enjoyed our stay at the hostel and found it relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, they also had a good value laundry (40 pesos to use a huge washing machine) and you could book onward bus tickets. The only downside was the music in the courtyard was too loud at night, also in our room after 3 days bin needed a change, towels were damp etc. Also kitchen could do with a tin opener! But overall recommended.
great location, everything is walkable, hostel is relatively clean, the bathrooms less so but depends on your standards, it really was worth it for the value dorm. do read the options as you can pay more for a better room but for the $9 one I was very pleased, you get what you pay for. staff is super helpful, be nice. and yes u have to pay to leave ur stuff for an extra day but if its just 2 hours they're cool about it. some hostels just have diff rules. also there is a tax to pay. recommended
Ok place, good kitchen. But in the room I stayed in (12 bed) it was around 35 degrees celsius at night, and at the same time lots of mosquitos. A fan would have been nice :)
Where to start? Ok location. Cheap hostel pool Quite helpful staff - 1 toilet and shower/room. Breakfast was croissants and sugar. And bread without butter or anything else. No air condition in my room. Not enough equipment in the kitchen.
Great hostel with awesome staff, only drawbacj is that it's about 10-15 mins from the city center.
Really close to the busterminal! But far from the rest. Good price for what you get but there was not really a hostel vibe. Staff is friendly and helpfull!
We had a private room but we felt like in a luxurious hotel. The staff were so helpful and the place is distributed so nicely that if you want to socialize you can and if you need your peace that is what you receive. Best hostel ever!
I dont understand why they dont include the 20 percent tax in the price advertised on hostel world. The staff were not particularly friendly and there is not much of an atmosphere.

Great hostal!! Right across the road from the bus terminal, only a 10-15min walk to the main street Avenida San Martin, and close to many buses and taxis. For dinner/drinks go to Avenida Villanueva Aristides. Staff were extremely helpful when we were trying to figure out activities. Go to the hot springs and wineries by yourself - very easy to get the bus yourself instead of paying for tours. Hostel extremely clean, very secure. Pastries and coffee for breakfast.
Top hostel to visit. Don't let the price fool you. It had everything you need and more for that price! No need to shop around, located right next to the bus station and short 5min walk from Main Street. Highly recommended!
right beside the bus station, big plus. But its ages from anything else. One of the receptionists spends her Time cuddling her boyfriend behind the desk, and gets annoyed with even the most basic questions..... The man in charge is Very nice, but charging you to leave your bags somewhere safe on chechout day leaves a bad taste
We stayed in a private room with private bath. We were happy with the room! The staff was nice, but wasn't overly welcoming or accommodating. They were a bit of a stickler with the coffee though (making it known that every guest was only allowed one free coffee per day). Hostel is a 15 minute walk from downtown.
Soap and a towel for drying would be excellent in the shared bathroom. We didn't had a locker in our 2-bed-room. But we liked the atmosphere there even if the walls are very fin and you hear every single step or talking.
