Nowhere in Hostelworld stated that this was a christian hostel. The staff was VERY unfriendly. The location was quiet good, but I wouldn´t ever go back to this hostel. Too expensive for the service they give

They're extremely Christian. Ironically, they are not friendly. They also monitor and censor their internet access.

I do not know why anyone would want to go to a christian hostel in Amsterdam.

i might stay there again if i traveled alone and stay only few days in amsterdam. it is safe there and the people r really nice it is good for a short stay like 2-3 days and low budget . totally worth it . the location cant be more central the bathroom is not so clean all the time but it is ok because of the price : )

I was traveling with a group of girls on our first excursion for our study abroad semester and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, we felt incredibly safe and the rooms were very clean.

Nice quiet and clean. Go do all your partying and then come back to a quiet hostel! Don't push the whole Christian thing, just a quick mention when checking in. Great location and great breakfasts! All in all a really solid hostel! Solo travellers may want to look elsewhere though!

I spent 3 nights in this hostel. The location is perfect because it's so close to the principal square in the city centre ( Dam Square ) and a 7 minutes walking from the Central train Station. It has market, coffee shops so close to the hostel. The hostel is safe and the staff so friendly. The room and the toilets were clean as well but for 2 times during the breakfast I saw one cat on the table. The breakfast was included but it wasn't poor. It's not enough for a man. I needed to buy other thing

In the mornings there should be more than one person working at the front desk. It took me 40 to check out because of the line.

Foi o pior hostel que ja fiquei em toda a minha vida! Os staff sao todos crentes e toda hora ficam chamando para rezar! Um saco! Eles tambem ficam limpando o hostel o dia inteiro , o que atrapalha o sono!!! Nao gostei!!!!Pessimo! Nao recomendo!!!

I'm so Blessed to be able to stay at the hostel. Thank you so much for allowing me not only to enjoy Amsterdam but also to be able to have time of fellowship with the Lord and with my Christian brothers and sisters. :)

THis Hostel is 1 of the worst hostels I've already stayed. When I read the review I thought was good. But actually, the atmosphere of the hostel is really old and looks uncleaned. The bathrooam is dirty. Everything is old, the stairs and the floor. On my first time I stayed in the 1st floor. Then I stayed In the 2nd floor, was horrible because the stairs to get to 2nd floor are really thick, small and narrow. And they knew that the shower was cold but they just repair when I complained abou that.

There only ever was one person at reception and this person was soooo busy all the time. The wait to ask even a simple thing like if I could hire a towel was ridiculous (there were a number of times when this happened, not just the once). I wonder if in busy times whether two people could be rostered on to reception, not only one?

I had a pleasent stay and I liked the hostel because you could sleep there during nights, no partying in the hostel! The staff was friendly and provided me with all the information I needed! The breakfast was nice as well.
