A great place to stay during your vacation. Big and spacious rooms. Everything is perfectly clean (which i am very particular about cleanliness). I love it!
I have stayed at Shin Osaka Youth hostel before and love it. It is so convenient to the station which also has lots of places to eat. The hostel is spotlessly clean and the members of staff are always helpful. I only put down "good" for atmosphere because we did not meet anyone else at the hostel when we were there. This youth hostel is one of my favorite places in Japan and I am happy to recommend it to all my travelling friends. Grant Morrow, Victoria, Australia
My one "complaint" is on the separation of the services. The facilities are first-rate, but you have to go to the 9th Flr to sleep and to the 10th Flr to shower and eat, use the computer/WiFi ; or is it the other way round? That was a drag, either climbing stairs or waiting for the elevator. But a great, clear, tradition place/space to spend a few days in Osaka. Actually it's located in Shin-Osaka, a one subway stop away from the action in Osaka.
You can only shower between 6am-9am and 6pm-9pm at this place and you can't be in your room from 10am to 4pm. And there is a strict 12pm curfew. It's clean and pretty cheap and the staff are helpfull but its still the most dull and lifeless hostel I've ever stayed at. It's full of religious types.
