This is hands down the best guest house I have ever stayed in. It\'s close to everything but also secluded in a traditional Thai neighborhood. Staff is incredible.

The place is really great for those who are looking for new friends and acquaintances. Conviniently located near a BTS station, the one connected to the airport railway. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Safe lockers and everything including wi-fi.

I've backpacked Europe & Asia and this is the best hostel experience by far. Staff is excellent. Facilities are clean & comfortable. Location is convenient to shops and public transportation. Very safe area. Perfect for solo travelers to meet others. If you want a genuine experience in Bangkok, stay here! If you want impersonal extreme touristy experience, go to khao San road.

A great place to stay and to meet people. The staff seemed to be taking guests out almost every day to explore the city. With only 9 beds, you get a chance to get to know the other guests.

Lovely hostel. Very clean and great air-con! Great atmosphere. The staff, Nathan, went above and beyond. Our first night there he led us through the back streets so we could get some food and he was willing to play board games when we were bored and waiting on our plane. He really made our stay wonderful. Nathan: make sure you send on that photo of Thom!! ;P

great hostel if you want to base yourself in pratunam for a few days. only place for 8 people which means it's small, tidy, well-run, and has a good atmosphere. i.e. if you wanna get to know people and need others to hang out with, i guess it's a good place. the guy running it is also really awesome since he studied in the u.s. and speaks perfect accent-free english!

The hostel is more of house--so we felt so much at home in this place. The staff are really friendly and they got a nice common area where guests can chill out and share travel stories. Everyone is friendly here! Location is superb. Its only three minutes away from Phaya Thai BTS and the Airport Link express.

Nathan is amazing host. Common room is a nice and good place to meet other travellers. Location is excellent, in the middle of authentic Thai community and a short distance from the skytrain, street food, Siam square. I would highly recommend Siam Journey to other travellers.

Nathan is a great host, its a very chilled atmosphere and off the beaten track so you can go to nearby markets for cheap food. The beds are pretty hard though.

Great hostel in a very great location. Right beside the metro / airport link, plus a quick 10 bat boat ride to the old city. Also, because it's away from Khaosan road you can actually get a proper nights sleep. Both Leo and Nathan really made my stay enjoyable and were always friends with me and my fellow hostelmates. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for only one night, but the location, value for money, and personal touch made it stand out. The staff are really nice guys. I recommend this one.

Very nice and little hostel, nothing to complain, very good location near water buses and skytrains. They even have cheap laundry service :) and in Bangkok, you really love AC in room

Siam Journey G.H. deserves the top rating it has received. Small things such as personal plugs at each bead in addition to the bed lamp, etc. Finding it is not difficult once you have studied the map carefully

We had a great stay at Siam Journey - clean, close to the sky rail, and good staff. It was nice to stay in a smaller guest house because it was easier to meet people, and I felt I got to know them better. Overall, everything was excellent!

One of the best community guesthouses I've stayed at (out of many). Service is beyond top-notch. Leo and Nathan are excellent at providing an easy-going atmosphere and opportunity to socialize and interact with other travellers. Be sure to ask them about the Thai cooking class. Amenities are very basic, but what can one expect for less than $20 a night?
