The rooms are too tiny, no place to put clothes and bags. It's hard to don't make noise when we go to the toilets during the nigt because of the lock system door of the room. There is no sound insulation.

A piece of heaven in the middle of nothing. Lisa was really helpful even thou we didn't see the lighthouse at neast point (it was too dark when we arrived and there were threatening sheeps looking at us :D I would definitely sleep there again if I'll come to skye again.

Keep on doing what you are doing! Warm atmosphere, very good and clean kitchen, nice "hostel parents", best advice on what to do in the area! We were really happy!

The staff is beyond excellent! Very welcoming and helpful. The shared rooms are very comfortable and cozy and the sleeping rooms quite nice. The location is a little bit out of the way - but isn't that what you want on the Isle of Skye!

Great hostel, nicely decorated, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice garden with a glass conservatory, a good range of games, great kitchen, well equipped. Fairly good location; not too close to sights (except Talisker siteillery & Bay) but easy to drive along the whole northern coast in one day and convenient for walking in Cuillin Hills. There didn't seem to be a lot of showers which I can imagine would be a problem in high season. The payphone was quite expensive.

What an experience. It's in the middle of nowhere but that's its charm. We did the '30 minute' walk to the Old Inn in Carboost which did take a tad longer than 30 minutes but very nice locals gave us a lift home. Saw a shooting star. The second night we opted for the pub which is 5 mins away, which is true and then hung out in the glass golf ball conservatory until it was too cold. We got an upgrade too which is always a delight. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing hostel - really friendly hosts who have created one kwirky hostel. Fun facts everywhere so you can spend half your day just wondering around discovering all the interesting things. Rooms were great, possibly slightly small but perfect for what you need, and for the price, it was outstanding! Kitchen is really well equip and there are lots of nice eating / communal areas. Would definitely return and highly recommend it to others.
