Breakfast buffet is general but ok. Dorms are nice with private showers. Wifi price is exaggerated and unfair, either get a Fijian SIM card or go to horizon next door.
Loved our stay here. The bar and outdoor area is right on the beach which is gorgeous at night. Good drinks and good available and very clean!
The airport transfer service was totally unacceptable. We were promised to wait for 15 mins for picking up, but even after 4 times of ringing, nobody showed up. We end up waited for 2 hours from 10:30pm - 12:30 am (mid night!!) and finally took a taxi by ourselves. They seemed to be treating it as nothing happen initially when we arrived. Finally, the taxi fee got refund after a harsh complainant to the manager. The 4-bed shared room was ok, the beds were tidy, while the toilet can be improved.
Had booked in for just one night were told we were being upgraded as there was over booking but turned out to be a down grade being put across the road at horizon while our friends were at smugglers and also being told it was because we booked so late (10days prior) like it was our fault. Also then had ask to still have our breakfast at smugglers with our friends. The place itself was nice and had a nice atmosphere was a shame our one night was dampened by overbooking and poor management of it.
34 bed dorm with no plug sockets. One double plug socket in each bathroom. Beds are partitioned which adds privacy. Each bed has a reading light and locker.
Good free activities and decent complimentary breakfast! Free wifi would have been good.
Would have given a 100% rating if it wasn't for the extortionately priced wifi! Top tip - the hostel 2 buildings down has free wifi without a password so go have a beer and check your emails/Facebook there instead!

This hostel is amazing!!! We stayed in the 32 bed dorm for 10 nights and although there were a lot I people it was fine and still cool. The only problem was bag space as it was quite cramped! But great free lockers for storing valuables. At £4.50 per night the resort was great - so many free fun activities! Great evening entertainment and the staff are so helpful and friendly! The food at the restaurant is also amazing and very cheap. Set right on the beach you can swim or paddle board anytime
It was a nice place on the beach front and was fine as a one night stop over on the way to / from the islands. Not sure i would want to stay here several nights in a row though as felt like it was missing character and personality.
it is a good place for students

It was a bit of both ends. Some staff were very friendly, others not as much. Accommodation was cheap but food and everything else was expensive. Workers would enter your room all the time without knocking first,. Beach was nice and hourly activities were great. Concierge was great to help book tours. Dorm bathrooms needed better cleaning and wasn't done everyday. Cleanliness could be improved. Overall an average experience, but for Fiji I think it should be excellent. It is paradise after all.
I stayed at smugglers for 2 nights upon first arriving in Fiji and it was a great place to stay! Got picked up from the airport then shown to my room when I checked in. Free breakfast was good. Just a shame you have to pay for wifi!
Stayed here either side of visiting the Yasawa Islands was a nice hostel for a few days, free breakfast and activities every all day and every night, although its more of a family atmosphere. But you can always hang out at Bamboo Beach hostel just up the beach for more of a backpacker vibe.
I've heard it can be a lot more lively, depending on the crowd. It's by a lovely beach which is great, but it's not exactly an area you can walk around to the next place to explore the surrounds. It's a residential area, you can only really drive around. The airport pickup took a long time, so I ended up taking a taxi. The welcome wasn't very warm, for Fiji. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again.
