This 'hostel' is so mixed up, half has families/ holiday makers in hotel rooms and the rest is backpackers. There are NO kitchen facilities,you're not allowd your own alcohol.It's far from shops/town you are forced to eat at the bar and grill which is HOTEL PRICES.Triple price of local food.Nice beach,hammocks and a pool, breakfast is bad but free.Kava ceremony made me bedbound vomitting.dont drink it, made with tapwater.would NOT stay here again, bamboo has kitchen n half the price next door.

The concierge desk was not helpful and gave misleading advice just so they could make an extra couple dollars commission! I was not happy with the advice nor how they handled it when I wanted to change my plans after finding out that how they potrayed the north islands was inaccurate. No transfer back to the airport as the website states. Food service was horrible-never got my order one night and waited over an hour another!
