Got smoked by bed bugs wasted 2 days both waiting for the room to be bombed and then waiting for our clothes to be washed!! Frustrating!! The staff were not very helpful!!
Couldn't fault this place! Location is right on the Ramblas and near metro. Staff spoke English and were very helpful (sometimes there's a lineup). Walking your was a tad chaotic at pickup but excellent once we started. Wifi throughout hostel is good. No kitchen to cook in as there's cafe/bar downstairs w exc prices and great selection! Storage lockers were the biggest we had yet! Breakfast was a tad avg. pub crawls ok. Rooms serviced daily. Only fault, We had a creepy masturbator one night lol
Me and my friend stayed at St. Christophers for 5 nights (supposed to stay 3 nights) in the beginning of september. It's the best hostel I've ever stayed in! The staff was awesome, the food in the restaurant was so good and cheap aswell. The hostel is new and very clean. I have nothing negative to say about this hostel at all. great atmosohere and great people, perfect location! Big love!

Facilities are great, large rooms, fantastic sized lockers, good beds with individual curtains, power points and lamps! Good security although key cards stopped working multiple times! Bathrooms are kept very clean! Place is massive, so lots of people but not that social as lots keep to themselves. Breakfast is ok, quite basic. Awesome location but staff are average. Not friendly or welcoming primarily due to dealing with so many guests. Reasonably priced, would stay here again.
Fantastic location Rooms big and great under bed storage big enough for all my things (and I had a lot!). Need own padlock. Loved the cutains on the beds too for some extra privacy. Room smelt a little as no windows which opened, but the aircon works fine. Be sure to check out the chillout room and patio on the 1st floor too, i didnt know it was there until the day i left, its where bag storage is (which you have to pay for :( ) Be warned about the false staircase opp reception, goes nowhere
Very knowledgeble, friendly and enthusiastic staff, thank you.

The kitchen was a joke. I think they are trying to make money selling food but it was the worst hotel kit hen I have seen with no stove and a mini fridge for hundreds
When we got to the hostel the sheets were dirty on or beds but besides that okay stay. Good location near la rambla.
The beds were nice but its not really a kitchen available just a microwave, they obviously want you to spend a bunch at the hostels restaurant, the showers were horrible , worst shower in any hostel I've stayed at in europe
really new and clean hostel in a beautiful city, in a perfect location minimun effort to get there from the airport is actually really close to plaza catalunya
Normal St Christopher's super-hostel with expensive bar/restaurant. Great rooms with lockers, beds with curtains, plug ins. Clean bathrooms. Wifi didn't work the entire time we were there.
Good hostel in a great location

Awesome hostel in the middle of Barcelona. So close to everything and the rooms were perfect. Comfiest hostel beds ever. Only bad thing was that like all St. Christopher's Hostels it had those annoying push button showers - just a small thing. Would definitely stay here again.
This hostel is VERY well located, walking distance from the main touristic places of BCN, and nice restaurants, bars, etc. around. The only complaint I have is that the smallest room has 8 beds, and this has pissed me off in my last two days, cause I couldn't sleep: people checking in and on during the night, or early morning, and a VERY NOISY door. The atmosphere is very good, owing to a cool bar downstairs always playing good music.
The overall look of the hostel wasn't too bad. One of the cleaner ones I've visited but wasn't a fan of the washrooms. Not enough stalls for the girls and I don't like showers on timers. Somewhat annoying. I'd definitely describe this as a party hostel which I guess is good if that's all you're looking for. But our first night was VERY noisy. Tons of youth so lots of partying. Hostel is generally pretty close to everything though, except the beach. 40 min walk
This place had the best bunk bed's I stayed in throughout my whole 4 and half months through Europe. Privacy curtain with power points and a light with rolling under bed lockers. The downside for me was the awful smell when walking through the hall ways, you could always smell toilet/bathroom odour no matter how much cleaning was done. The location is also great, a very short walk to The Rambler, metro station and airport bus stop.
The staff was good, the beds were comfortable, but something needs to be done about the ventilation in the bathrooms. The hallways smell like feces!
Always perfect! Location also perfect ++ ! :D
Designed for a first time backpacker. All very new and shiny complemented by a very central location. Reception staff were average and you were often made to feel like an inconvenience. Bar staff on the other hand were excellent and made for a good atmosphere in the bar. You will find a lot of Australian's here, which can either be a good or bad thing. There were a few bogans present during my stay.
Slow - super slow service at reception.
