They were very into getting people to meet each other which was cool. Food at the bar wasn't all that great but it was quick. Rooms were clean but the ladies showers were very cold.

Everything you want in a hostel. Comphy beds, lights and power sockets in every bed, amazing staff, free breakfast, wicked bar with %25 off food for people staying in hostel. Just overall amazing, the St Cristophers chain NEVER disapoints.

Welcoming atmosphere , well positioned in the heart of Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas street. Breakfast was good too. Good place to meet other travellers. I highly recommend for travellers to Barcelona , you will not get disappointed. Surely will try other St. Christopher's Inn around Europe.

I had permanent problems with wi-fi and hot water. Arrangement of beds is unreasoned and uncomfortable Staff was nice and helpful

Fantastic hostel. Great atmosphere, delicious and cheap meals, social activities every night, free breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are friendly and welcoming, especially Adrian and Xavier. Only letdown was the organized club nights, you pay 5 euros to go with the hostel promoters, however the clubs tend to be free entry plus a free drink if you just go as a regular patron!

Unreal hostel! Great for meeting people and going out. Staff were great and very helpful. 15 minute walk to the beach. I would go there again for sure.

Stayed here and at the Hipstel and definitely preferred this hostel. Free breakfast was cereal and milk, some juices, bread, and ham/cheese, not bad. Has a pretty cool bar area to hang out with a ping pong table. Nightly mixer was cool way to meet people. My only gripe about this place was the annoying pushing of the club every night. Dude stands near the front desk from morning until night trying to recruit people. 5 euros to get into the club with a total of 30 dudes from your hostel.

Really great atmosphere, good breakfast and amazing location. They organise to go to a new club each night and free sangrias are given on your first night. The hairdryers do not work, although not a big issue. Only negative is that the staff are terrible. Reception lady with dark hair is rude and staff organising clubs try to hook up with guests, don't fall into their trap.

Perfect location in Barcelona.. friendly staff, events every evening, nice free breakfast. My only complaint may be that the kitchen was too small for such a large place, but if you're not looking to cook a lot, this is one of the cleanest and nicest hostels I've stayed in. Plus the comfiest hostel beds I've slept in for sure! Thanks for a nice time!

St. Christophers felt very safe and we were treated very well by the front desk staff. Breakfast was also one of the better hostel breakfasts that I've had. Location wise its super convenient. Unfortunately, we were smacked in the face by the smell of feet when we entered our room and the windows were screwed shut, some ventilation would be nice. Washrooms were clean.

Great breakfast :) Bathrooms were okay, could have been cleaner although may be it's the case when u use them at 2 am in the night!

Fab stay .Outside area great but closed to early, sometimes staff a little rude making you leave before drinks even finished , shame because otherwise an excellent bar and food amazing ! Reception staff varied from polite and helpful to sometimes ignorant. More notices about respecting that people are sleeping especially at 4am ! Some roomies very rude , lights on no matter what time of night or morning. Would be great if the big lights went off after a certain time , or timed out.

This hostel was pretty cool. Great atmosphere and we met a great bunch of people. Loved the idea of welcome drinks to help people get to know each other. The rooms were clean, slightly small though. And the wifi does drop in and out a far bit. Also did have one of the night time staff be really rude to my boyfriend and I integrating is about whether he we were actually staying at the hostel. I understand that he needs to make sure for security purposes but there was no need to speak so rudely.

My room smelled awful, and staff seemed indifferent.

SCAM...checked out at 11.05 and hostel staff refused to give key deposit back. If they are going to have this procedure, they should advise before that it's a late check out fee deposit, not a key deposit. This was only 5 minutes after the time too. A hostel should be more focused on satisfying customers than scamming a extra 2 euros. Rooms are fine. Social side is dissapointing, it's more of a working people/low key hostel than for fun backpackers!

had a quiet couple of nights here after a big weekend at a different hostel. was perfect. Belushi's, as always, had good food and cool bar. was a good place to just chill out. right at the top of las ramblas and next to the metro so easy to find and leave.

It is a big chain hostel style. Room was spacious and bed confortable. Hostel was clean and well located in the center. They had also a nice bar. Good breakfast too. The only negative point was the luggage room if you want to leave your luggage for some hours after checkout. It is paid and similar to train/bus stations (left luggage lockers)

Usually large hostels aren't my favorite but the nightly organized meetings (basically speed dating for friends) are really helpful for meeting people. Dorms are average but the individual curtain, light, and locker is convenient. Drinks at the bar are expensive for Barcelona standards and beware that the $5 for the nightly club visit is just for entry...you will have to pay for your taxi, drinks, etc. Great location for walking everywhere.

The location could not have been better. The hostel is situated perfectly in the city and is within easy walking distance to the beach, tourist sites, and restaurants. I stayed in the all female room and although it was crowded the atmosphere was friendly and respectful. The bathrooms were a bit gross, but nothing terrible (just bring shower shoes). The price was also great and I would absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone.
