Absolutely love this hostel. I have been travelling for over 8 months, across Canada, America and Europe and this has been my favourite one by far.! The atmosphere there is like no other, everyone staying there is like minded and wanted to communicate and make friends. Was brilliant. The room are great, especially the way the beds have curtains for privacy and their own power point for charging belongings. Showers are a bit weak though, my only complaint is that.
Larger chain hostel with the friendlyness & warm atmosphere of a small hostel. Locatian is perfect as its just off the La Rambla & close to taxi rank & airport shuttle bus. Dorms are clean & spacious & have curtains which is good for privacy. The hostel has lots of activities available & is so lively at night. Everyone is so friendly so as a solo traveller it was easy to meet people at the "meet and greets". Really enjoyed my stay here & definately would stay here again! ☺️
It was a great hostel with great services and facilities. The sinks in the ladies bathroom on the 5 floor were leaking causing the bathroom to be constantly wet. Although this is not a big deal, it is not a cheap hostel, therefore expectations are high for things to be kept in good working order and clean. Overall I had a great stay at St Christopher's Inn in Barcelona.
Great location and a nice, clean hostel with good facilities. However, there was only one social event during my stay and the hostel set-up did not facilitate meeting other travellers well.
One of my favourite hostels in Europe! A great place to meet new friends when traveling alone because of the ground floor bar and social activities they organise. Everyone was so friendly and I've had some of my best nights out through St Christopher's. The rooms are clean and spacious with great aircon and wifi connection. For partying or sight seeing, I highly recommend st Christopher's!
Bads are quite confortable and the hostel is well located. It's pretty easy to walk around. The staff is not the most enthusiastic but they do their best to atend all the requests. It is worth to stay there.

When I checked in, I met a woman staff on the reception but she was so rude I always dont want to talk with staffs because of her. But other things were so nice rocation, cleanliness, security and free breakfast!!!
Staff were extremely helpful and great! Every day I would see the dorm being cleaned, which shows they are very much on top of it. Only thing is, there's no wifi in the rooms (wifi connects in the common room area/hallways). Another dorm mate did tell me that she didn't bother washing her clothes because there was only one machine for the entire building. Other than that, it's great! Thank you!
Great hostel I went back twice, great vibe and bar, very social. There is however no real cooking facilities in the 'kitchen' just a tiny fridge and a toaster and microwave. They do have a wicked cafe though which you get discount so if ur not looking to cook your own meals that's really convenient. Also the free breakie is pretty good too!
St Christopers Barcelona is a huge hostel. The rooms are clean with good beds/personal outlet/light, but were beyond tiny and stuffy because of the zero ventilation and dark. There is a bar downstairs that gets packed at night, and a lounge that was good except for the major lack of outlets. Staff were neither friendly nor rude. The location is perfect, however. The free breakfast isn't worth it, tbh. It was an ok hostel but not worth it for the price. Won't be returning.
Great location and clean rooms and bathrooms! The hostel organizes meetings every night and cheap entries for the best nightclubs in Barcelona!

The hostel and everything about were ok until i was charged extra 100 EUR from my credit card after i came back home. Now i've already spent two days contacting service team but still communication is poor - no one is solving my issue Very bad management!
Pretty good as far as large hostels go. Pretty much the same as all St Christopher hostels.
Great hostel. Very clean and the rooms were great. The bar and social area downstairs was a great place to meet new people. The only thing like most of the chain hostels is that is was just too big. There were a lot of groups. As a solo traveller, it's still great but I think there are better options.
The location couldn't be more perfect! The rooms were kept clean and also the shared bathrooms were of a high standard. The air conditioning was great however got a little cold at night but was automatically controlled so we couldnt turn it off which was a little annoying. Staff were super helpful and friendly.
In general terms, is an OK Hostel. Particularlly, I prefer smaller ones. But, the fact that this is a well known hostel and there are lots of St Christopher Hostel in most european cities, doesnt make a god thing to treat their clients as they were cheaters! I was asked in a rude way to follow one of the staffs WITH my credit card down to reception. This guy had no respect with me as a client and I had to follow him with my sleeping clothes. No apologies was made! They made the mistake, not I!
I'm not sure if the staff were really tired or stoned but drawing blood from a stone comes to mind, check in took 10mins! Bars quite good, no kitchen so its burgers or bust. Great security so no worries there, in fact I tried to bring a girl in and got halted by the reception haha, cmon guys I'm here to have fun! Overall a good hostel, slightly impersonal due to the high number of guests in my opinion.
A nice hostel with a perfect location.Breakfast was a bit better than in a few other hostels; there was ham and cheese too. I stayed one night in a girl's dorm and slept really bad: the trunk of the bunk bed was metal and attached to three other beds. Whenever someone climbed to a bed, moved there or packed their stuff early in the morning it moved unpleasantly and made noise. Not nice!
If you're looking to party in Barcelona and have a fun time, this is the place to go. Great set up with a cool bar and good prices for drinks. Has pool and ping pong, good wifi and a good atmosphere.
The information that I was hoping to get from the reception/help desk was not sufficient for me.
