Really good location, lovely and helpful staff, and interesting old nautical theme to the place.

Staff is more than friendly and very helpful in finding your way around the City and plan trips in the area. Thanks once again. Location is perfect!!! The dorms are very small though and not in best shape. Still a great place to stay.
A really good and quiet hostel. Good location and really clean rooms and washrooms. Staff was really nice and they have a good system if you arrive after the reception is closed, just remember to check your e-mail.... hehe. The only thing I would wish for is a better kitchen to make food. Like a cooking stove or something would be nice. Other then that we had a great stay!
Really friendly staff and lovely vibe- homely and clean decor.
The location is only 5-minute walk from Granville and Vancouver City Centre station of the skytrain, and is in walking distance to many attractions. The staff were absolutely nice. The shower and bedroom were clean. It actually did not have a hostel-like environment so if you want to chat and mingle, you can choose another hostel. The worst was the noise at night, though the next night we closed the window and it was better.
Great price for a private room and in an excellent location in downtown Vancouver. Only a couple of blocks from the subway (Skytrain) too. A slight lack of toilets and showers, but they never seem to be busy though... The bed is a little uncomfortable as it sags in the middle. This is ever so slightly more awkward when sharing as you both roll into the middle! The staff were very friendly, especially the Italian lady at the front desk, she was very helpful!
This is much more a hotel with common toilet facilities than a hostel. The hotel is clean, relatively secure (there are small lockers for valuables), and is in a fantastic location, but it lacks the atmosphere of a hostel. Also don't plan on cooking anything here. If you are a couple / pair looking for a quieter alternative to a hostel, this place might make sense.
Another great hostel. If you want character then this is the place to go. A fair bit quieter than I imagine other hostels on the main drag (Granville St.) would be, so easy to catch some sleep if you need it. Located pretty close to Gastown which has a bunch of stuff and a great coffee shop (Timbertrain) on West Cordova.
first of all, the location is the best. and bed condition and room, every facilities condition also pretty good. I really satisfied.

Very creaky beds and hallways. Mattess was comfy though despite the noise. Cute decor everywhere fit with the old world sailing theme. Bathrooms had an ammonia smell to them at all times. Showers seemed pretty clean (as long as you didn't look at the ceiling) but I would recommend shower shoes to be safe. Didn't really use the kitchen- great dining is all around. Great location!
staff very helpful and friendly
