This hostel is definitely not high class,so if you're that's what you're looking for don't go here. However, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is great!

We stayed in a private twin room. Unfortunately the fridge did not really get very cold and the freezer didn't freeze. When we mentioned it to the duty manager when we checked out her response was disappointing. Instead of thanking us for letting her know and assuring us that these things would be fixed she had a "so what?" attitude and asked why we were only telling her now if it was an issue. The desk staff when we arrived did not inspire confidence that they knew what they were doing.

The facilities were nice, but in my room there was a lot of fungi on the walls and it smelled really bad! You could not close all the showers and there were frogs or other animals inside. The bar was not open on a Saturday evening (!) and there is nothing really else to go in St. Lucia after 10pm. The kitchen was very dirty and the water out of the tap was almost yellow.

Definitely good value for money. Only in the two nights that I stayed there (Christmas time) it was unbelievably loud until 1 a.m. because people were getting too drunk. the next morning the place was a complete mess, In the second night a very loud argument broke out and there was obviously nobody from the staff that could help to cool people down. If you are out to have party, though, it is a good place to stay. If you want to sleep because you want to get up early, it might not be the perfect
