Not at all what we were expecting. Online images are not representative of the place. Very dissapointed.

Really disappointing. Big hostel which meant staff were impersonal. No kitchen was a major frustration for a solo traveller trying to save money. Rooms were what you'd expect, apart from there being just ONE power point for six people - good luck charging phones. Atmosphere was not good because the only communal area was a FOYER. In my two nights there I barely met anyone. Hostel felt more like a mix of a college dorm and a hotel. Free breakfast was great, security no problem, location okay.

Very clean, professional hostel. Not the general hostel feel to it, more of an efficiently run business. The place hosts large groups of students and other groups. Great location though.

The size of the hostel (and therefore also a lot of groups) makes it difficult for a single person to meet other travelers.

A great place to have a fun and secure time in amsterdam. The staff were very helpful. Great facilities and with a breakfast included. We would recommend a stay to solo travellers or groups

Felt like it was functioning hostel in every aspect. Very nice and helpfull staff that spoke good english. The room wasn't pretty but atleast it was not small. The bathrooms were okay but lacked hangers and shelves. Good location! Nice with Vondelpark right next door.

It was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Internet wifi would have been great in the rooms. Family friendly. If you're looking for something right in the city centre, this is a small dustamce out, but if you don't mind walking its perfect as its right next to Vondel Park. Highly recommend it!

The room was really cold! The heater was working, so I don't understand the reason. But please work on it! Besides that everything was good!

The hostel is quite large, so didn't care so much with us. The room is very clean and big. Mine had bathroom what I consider a plus. The breakfast was excellent with great variety. The location was good, close to bus stops and tram, besides near leidzplein. For those traveling with big suitcase plus point is that the hostel has an elevator.

Larger hostel but still comfortable. Don't have anything negative to say about it. Great breakfast included. And its Amsterdam. So you're almost guaranteed to meet some cool people!

The breakfast should be reorganized: I had to spend 20 minutes in a line waiting until I could enter the place where the breakfast is served. The guests that arrive at 6 a.m. and are not allowed to their rooms until 2 p.m. should be allowed to sleep in the lobby. After all, who cares about a couple of people dreaming in a corner?

Stayokay is a very good hostel, very located, clean and the breakfast was excelent. The staff was a little bit rude when we check in, but besides that, our stay was very good.
