Plain and simple rooms and facilities, but clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We reached all sights, restaurants and theaters by foot. I would recommend this hostel to everyone who does not need the feeling of having stayed in a \"stylish\" hostel, but wants to see the city instead.

Great value for money, good location. Kitchen is a bit small, some staff are a bit vague but great hot showers.

This hostel was perfectly situated. It is in the city center and only a 5 minute walk from the central plaza as well as the metro and the bus stop. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and our room was very clean. We had a balcony too!! The location was definitely the best part of this hostel but the rest was really good as well. Would definitely recommend it.

I have to say that this is the best place to stay, the staff is really friendly, the location is perfect, the atmosphere is so cozy and at the same time up to date, our room was cleaned everyday. I can not complain about anything at this hostel and I will choose this if I was to go to Madrid again.

Great hostel! I would always come back. We had a twin bed room, so we can only rate that. But our room was great. We even got the ensuite bathroom even though we hadn't booked it. The location is superb, too. You don't need the metro everything's within walking distance. The view from the room is really "spanish". Minus points for it being quite loud in the evening. You can hear all the cars go by, feel it even. But one can live with that easily.

We had a private 4-person room. It was a great deal for what we got. Very clean and nice room. Close to Sol which is a great place to visit and the Prado Museum. I would consider staying here again considering the price.

The hostel is a 5minute walk toPuerta de Sol. We requested an ensuite room upon arrival and were very happy with the room-cleaned every morning. Breakfast is satisfactory. Can be a bit noisy at times. The staff were very helpful, and we recommend you enjoy the events the hostel has to offer, such as a walking tour, flamengo night, tapas night, pub crawls. The walking tour is a must and the guide was amazing - shout out to Harriet thank you, we had so much fun with you! Definitely recommended.

It's a good hostel with a nice price, very well located. Towels included! The bathrooms could be more clean.

Hi! I´m a girl from Germany and I stayed with my friends in Students Hostel Luis Velez. It was the best choice we could make!! it´s so cheap and for that price a super hostel. Like a hotel. With the metro you are in 5 minutes in the center of Madrid. I just can say: everything was very good. Near to the Hostel are restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Perfect! :)

Greatly located hostel! Right were you wanna be when in Madrid. Very clean and with a welcoming atmosphere. English spoken. The beds are very comfy and we got upgraded to a room with bathroom for free. It's not to noisy in the nighttime as it's located kinda away from busy roads. Only minor complaint was the lack of view, and air, as our room only had a small window pointing towards a small yard -it wasn't too big of a problem, as we didn't spend to much time in the room anyways. Value for $!!!

It seems not to be in a very safe area and it is always very noisy outside. We cannot boil hot water to drink.

My group and I spent a night in a 5 person room with a shared bunk bed style room, but then got upgraded to a room in a different building for the same price. The new room was more like a nice hotel than a hostel! Clean, private bathroom, towels, free wifi...everything a person could ask for a weekend away. Great location, great service, and I had an amazing time.

Very different room standard between the 3rd and 4th floor. Double room is in the 4th floor much better than in the 3rd floor (e.g. largeness, view, TV, etc.)

Even though this hostel was completely booked, they offered to put us in another hostel that was identical, and even gave us a free upgrade of our own private bathroom! They gave us a map with all the monuments and attractions to see. They placed us in a hostel that was in the midst of all the night life, which was great! If you book with this hostel you won\'t regret it if I ever go back I will only use this hostel!
