This hostel was an excellent place to stay... until the last night when I found bed bugs.

The hostel is located in the very centre of Madrid. It is its advantage and disadvantege at the same time, beacuse of the busy streets at night. The staff was not very nice at all.

Hostel was clean, the staff was very friendly. The only bad thing was to see our 3-day public transportation pass go to waste. This hostel is right in the center of weherever you need to go by foot in madrid.

The staff was multi-lingual, very useful if your spanish isn't all that great. Upon arrival things may seem abit strict, but the staff just follow all the procedures, so in the end it's all good. Location: it's situated a few minute's walk off the Plaza Mayor and the Puerta del Sol, from which you can walk to the nearest things-to-see-in-Madrid. On the other end of the road is a large disco, called Kapital. Overall, a nice hostel with a cozy kitchen situated in the heart of Madrid. Recommended +

The hostel really offers a great conditions for a very available price! Rooms are pretty and clean. We stayed in a private room which had a bathroom and air conditioning. It was a nice stay. Stuff could get a bit more open for the guests, cause they hardly speak. It would be nice to show the hostel to the guests arriving so that they could feel more welcomed and comfortable. More than that, I would most definitely come back and recommend.

It was very nice that the sheets were changed every day, plus it is a top location: right in between Plaza Mayor & Parc del Retiro.

we stayed here for two nights and the first night we had to go to another hostel, two houses down the street. we were really disappointed because the other hostel wasn't what we had payed for and wasn't very good. the beds were terrible and the room wasn't very comfortable i don't know why we had to stay there but it wasn't pleasant... the second night however was quite the opposite... the room was very fancy, with decent beds, airconditioning, our own bathroom and a balcony, a reaaly nice room

Man on reception was very good. Offered to upgrade us from our 2people room shared bathroom to an ensuite for 10 euros and after we declined we were put into a room for 5 with shared bathroom. Was still just the two of us so was lovely to have the extra space! Probably occurred because of a room booking mix up. No problem though. Walls very thin and we had a loud group of lads next to us, but this is no fault of the hostel. Clean showers, not TOO far from the sights, lots of places to eat nearby

Great location, great facilities. Staff was helpful and fairly friendly. We had the twin private with bath and the bathroom was very nice. Flat screen TV in the room. Beds were alright, but just fine for a hostel. I'd definitely come back here, especially in a city like Madrid where you're not sure what you're getting.

Big clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and located near Plaza de Sol - perfect! We were even offered to move to a different building in order to have an ensuite bathroom, as it was not included in our original reservation. The room was beautiful and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

This hostel is more like a hotel. There is no living room to meet new people, and the kitchen is poor, has only a stove, 3tables and a chair. If you want to be anonim go there... The location is great ( 10 min to everithing in the centar). Staff is cold but want to help...give good first informations about the town.

One of the best hostels we stayed at. Very clean (apart from a thick layer of dust on top of the paintings). Great bathroom in the room and the common kitchen was very convenient and nice. The room itself was a bit small for three people, but very quiet and with air conditioning (very important in hot Madrid). There were two computers with free access to internet. Its location was perfect, just in the middle of the center. Pedro's (or Pablo? ;p) free walking tour was very fun and informative.

For only 20€ per night, they gave us an excellent room with our own bathroom although we didn't even pay for it. The staff was very friendly an helpful. We would recommend this hostel to anyone! Perfect.

We had a private bathroom. It seems that in shared bathroom, toilets are not clean at all. So it is better to pay a little bit more to get a perfect bathroom (brand new, clean, good water pressure)
