Welcome to The Driftwood Surfer Hostel in El Paredon! We're looking forward to meeting you. At Driftwood, we have a 2-night reservation minimum, so you can truly enjoy all that we have to offer. Our goal is to provide you with an amazing stay and an unforgettable experience.

At our beachfront hostel, you can choose from our air-conditioned dorms or private rooms. We have a stunning beachfront pool bar and a panoramic rooftop restaurant that serves delicious international and local cuisine, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Our rooftop restaurant also offers daily specials that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.

The Driftwood Surfer is more than just a place to stay — we are committed to conservation and community projects. We organize a daily baby turtle release during the season with The Driftwood Surfer conservation project. In addition, we offer the cheapest surf lessons in town, surfboard rentals, and other activities such as kayak and SUP, turtle and salt farm tours, and pool and ping pong tables.

We also have a fun and social atmosphere with free organized evening activities and the best surf spot in Guatemala. You can relax in our hammocks or hang out with our mini pig, Potato.
