The shower rooms are not enough. We have to wait for the shower. The location is great. The room is not very clean but it's cheap though. The best thing is you can meet nice people to experience Amsterdam together which is much fun.

This is your average hostel. I struggle to find a very nice hostel in Amsterdam when comparing to other cities. Staff was knowledgeable and very nice. They are required to leave to front desk to help out in other parts of the hostel so you sometimes have to wait till are allowed back in. I believe there were only 6 power outlets in my room for 14 beds so it was a challenge to charge your devices. But the location was great. 10 minute walk from Central Station and everything else you would need

A very good location but noisy street above a bar.Coul,nt get more central for partying.

The share toilet and shower were not clean enough. Thought that internet could be accessed from room, but no, its only at one small common room

Location is great, but the main problem we had (I stayed here for two nights with my partner) was that despite booking two bunks they ha over booked. We ended up sharing a single bunk and locker. Wasn't ideal.

Atmosphere is what you'd expect from a hostel that's 100m away from the red light district (lots of males). Quite pricey for what you got, and the bathrooms weren't always in the best condition. Excellent central location though.

it is a great spot, right in the redlight district. But this is a spot for young backpackers who want to go out and get high. If that is you, then it is great

Its a hostel in the middle of the red light district, so you've got a great location. But the rooms are not very clean, only 2 out 4 showers worked and only one of those has a lock. It constantly smelled like a mixture of BO and fried food from the bar below. There are few services: no luggage room, no kitchen, no common area etc All this being said, it's Amsterdam. There really aren't many options, and most hostel options in Amsterdam are no good. So at least this one is cheap and well located.

very poor.. clean..very no!!! Noisy..very nononono!!!!!! anyway...very poor..

The staff was amazing , friendly, and very helpful! The hostel overall was a great place to slay at. The other guests were friendly and social.

Its located in the very center of Amsterdam, with might be good but it is also close to Red Light district, which is very noisy and crowdy. The same applies to the hostel. So you can't expect a cozy and quiet place to sleep. The smell of weed is also a bit disturbing. The staff i ok. but neither extraordinary friendly, nor helpful. The hostel doesn't have much place to hang out. Its good, only if your'e looking for a place to sleep and lack of comfort doesn't deter you.

Excellent location in the centre of the city. Had a private room which was clean and a decent size for 4 people. The 20% discount in the Irish pub downstairs is a nice bonus. Bathrooms were kept clean and the vending machines have some useful essentials. Ear plugs are essential if you're staying at the church end of the hostel because the church bells start about 9 in the morning. Overall it is in a great location within walking distance to everything in Amsterdam.

The location of the hostel was great. But the first member of staff that we met seemed to pressure us into buying tickets for a pub crawl that we didn't go to and was not very friendly so do not say yes to a pub crawl, you could book it yourself if you really wanted to go. However, other members of staff were very friendly. Our room smelt horrible and the people weren't friendly and the people in our room engaged in promiscuous activities, which was gross. The bar was expensive.

Perfect location! I booked a private with my friends so we had our own toilet/shower which was nice. Beds were comfortable. Loved having the attached bar with 20% discount on food and drinks. Some of the bar staff however were not friendly. Some were extremely rude and you could tell they didnt want to be there. Front desk staff were great!

Staff is nice but hostel is a little dingy. I think they can get away with not paying much attention to any additional amenities because the location is literally in the middle of all the action and that makes all the difference. If you are looking for a place to crash after enjoying whatever "activities" brought you to Amsterdam, this is the most centrally located place to call home.

It is good enough, maybe it doesn´t have a good place to share with other passengers at the hostel. Internal hall sometimes smell no so well.

This hostel has poor air circulation. The room was very hot, smelly, and dirty. The shower, toilet, and sinks were filthy. I will NEVER stay there again! I booked the room for 3 nights, but checked out after the 1st night. This hostel is in the Red Light District, so it's very loud. On a positive note, this hostel has storage bins for your luggage, which you can be locked using your own lock.

Very noisy at night and hot.

As far as hostels go this was average to good. Wifi worked in my room, I had a locker in the room & each bed in my dorm had a powerpoint. My biggest issue was that it was UNBEARBABLY HUMID AND HOT! It was suffocating & to the point where i was considering changing hostels. The staff should have put fans in the rooms but they did nothing. It could use individual lights to stop those 'less experienced/rude' people from turning on the main lights at 3am. I didn't like the shared bathrooms.
