Felt more like a home then a hostel as its quite small you get to know everyone that is staying there. Ivan was a great host and took us to a great local bar for a texan experience and had a lot of information available on Dallas and Fortworth. Location is in a cute little town with restaurants, supermarkets and small shops. train station on 5 minutes walk away and cheap only $5 for a day pass. Highly recommend for a homely but fun hostel.

The hostel is not so organized but the staff is really friend. Irvin is really good person. I stay in this hostel 2 times and if someday I go back to Dallas for sure I'll stay there, again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. This place was convenient to transportation lines for the Dallas area including downtown. This hostel is small with a personal touch and informal, un-fussy character. Nice to be there.

I came expecting to just be crashing for the night then leaving the next morning. Instead, when I woke up there was coffee ready, and then all of the people staying at the hostel who could go were taken out to a local place to get breakfast, then given a tour of Dallas. Great service and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Bit of a smell to the place, but nothing unbearable especially considering the price. All in all I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Low key place, did the job. These things didn't bother me, but may bother you: a bit noisy, the number of beds in the room may be different than what you sign up for (though the number of people in the room may be quite small), and I think that's it. Ivan was friendly and helpful. It was easy to catch a train into Dallas (though it's a commuter train, so plan to take the bus or a taxi from the airport when you come in if you don't know the schedule).

The bathrooms were dirty and there was no possibility to lock our rooms. Otherwise everything was good. Ivan and Carlos are both really nice and helpful !

First, if you are looking for luxury, try the Hyatt. If you are looking for hospitality and sharing in a friendly environment, then stop in and be part of Ivan's little family. Ivan will share his enthusiasm for Dallas-Ft. Worth, his adopted home, and get you on the right train or bus. It's the first time in many hostel stays that I knew all my fellow guests, along with their origins and destinations. You will want to re-visit Dallas-Ft. Worth just to drop in on this friendly place.

A hostel that feels like home, cosy and friendly makes it easy to meet other travellers and relax. A bit outside downtown Dallas but easy to reach. I stayed in winter time, but during the warmer months it would be nice to enjoy the garden and barbecue facilities. Owner very friendly and helpful.
