The Yellow was voted the #1 hostel in Rome at the 2011 Hoscars and it's not hard to see why. The hostel is set near Termini station and has a popular bar downstairs which one Hostelworld traveller described as the 'cheapest in town'. Our visitors say the staff know the best spots to party and the must-go sites and 'will make you feel at home and help in every way possible and join in the festivities at night'. The hostel has a youthful party atmosphere which our guests say is 'very comfortable, fun and safe'.

Do you want a more relaxed and comfortable stay? Book our private rooms; they're in the annex building where you can have a more tranquil atmosphere.
The private rooms in the annex are just a few steps away and are equipped with a private ensuite bathroom, direct-dial phone, independent air conditioning and heating, a safety deposit box, a hair dryer, a mini fridge and wired Internet access.
All bedrooms are non-smoking. There's also air conditioning in the ensuite dorms (on energy-saving timers). We've got hot showers 24/7!
Some of our great hostel features include free Wi-Fi, free iPad hire (30 min/day), a bar, a free welcome drink when you like our FB page, food available all day, a patio and more. Our a la carte breakfast is available from €2.50 up.
We provide great walking tours and free city maps, with no lockout or curfew. There's a super market nearby and safe paid parking nearby. You can safely leave your luggage overnight or long term for a small fee.
Please note that we only accept guests between the ages of 18 and 40. People aged 16 and under cannot stay with us. Guests aged 17 must be accompanied by another guest aged 18 or older and have written permission from a parent or legal guardian. Please read our confirmation email for more details. Guests aged 40 or older must stay in a private room.

You'll find that the majority of our guests range in age from 18 to 26, and they all come to enjoy the great atmosphere we create. With different DJs coming in to spin party music, a €3 buffet, our nine-hour-long happy hour and beer pong tournaments, I think a lot of people find it hard to leave.
We've also got a pretty quiet area in our restaurant if challenging someone to beer pong isn't your cup of tea. And while you're sipping on your cocktail or choosing something to eat off of our menu, you can take advantage of our free iPad rentals and Wi-Fi.

If you will be traveling to Rome this summer staying at the Yellow Hostel is a must. Located about three blocks away from the central train station makes it easy to get to anywhere in the city. FOR you free breakfast lovers..This hostel is still worth it. A breakfast sandwich (egg+bacon+cheese) and a latte is only 2.50. At night this place is hopping, great happy hour as well as an awesome party room in the basement. MAKE sure to grab some beers and hit up the free night walking tour with Justin

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
A Rome City Tax of 2 Euro per person per night is not included in the rates and shall be added to your balance, payable by cash.
Check-in: 1.30pm til late. Check-out: 10am. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us on check-out day, free of charge. Remember that you will not be able to check in unless the booking has been made under your name or if you are together with the person who has made the booking. If you need to check in earlier than the person who has made the booking please ask them to advise us via email well in advance.
A valid ID or a valid passport is required at check-in.
We accept Visa and MasterCard.
There is a 2 Euro deposit per person for keys, payable in cash and refundable upon return of the keys.
For bookings of two or more guests we will try our best to put everyone in the same room but we can't guarantee it.
We have a 24hr cancellation policy. Cancellations must be received by email by 1.30pm (CET) the day before your arrival date. We don't accept cancellations or changes via phone. Only when you receive a reply with the confirmation of your cancellation or change can you be sure that your request has been processed and what the final outcome is.
