Everything was great but the woman working when we checked in and out of the hostel was unfriendly.

One of the best Hostels I have been in, very modern, the rooms have everything you need, they have planned it well. I must recommend the walking tour with Erica, Amazing, fun and free!!! As I was only stopping in Madrid for the day I got to see so much and hear so many classic legends and stories and met new people! Definitely worth it! Would definitely come back again.

Great value for money. Very clean and spacious rooms, nice facilities. Great choice either for someone who is travelling alone or with a group. The actiivities the hostel organize are great to get to know the city and make new friends. They organized the best pub crawl I've ever been to! And I couldn't not mention Pablo! Always willing to help and give lots of tips of places to go and do in Madrid. Definetely will come back to this hostel.

This hostel was really big but still had a good vibe. The staff was great; everyone at the reception desk was knowledgeable and friendly, the walking tour guide (Erica) was funny and enthusiastic and Pablo was really awesome as well! Pablo got everyone together to play drinking games one night (free sangria was provided) and it was really fun! He made you feel welcomes which is great since I was traveling alone. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Madrid!

It was a nice surprise to see our room! Nice view, big, young and fresh. Lovely rooms! There are plenty of toilets and showers (at least in the girl's floor). Breakfast was really poor though, 2 toasts with 1 butter 1 jam and you had to choose between milk and juice otherwise you have to pay, which makes a mess because you have to go to reception which is very narrow and there's always people checking-in or out. But in general, great hostel. Besides, there's a nice a big kitchen just in case .

I only stayed for a night but it was I was impressed at how clean the hostel was. The room was really nice with the make up table. The locker was large. The bathrooms/showers were clean. I would return there again if I return to Madrid.

We loved staying at U Hostel. Some people found that it wasnt as central as they expected but it is a short walk to two major metro stations and nothing is really too far away. Everyone was really friendly and we especially loved our walking tour, it gave us an interesting and entertaining first insight into Madrid. The rooms were very clean as were the showers. We had absolutely no problems!

If u bring ur key with ur movil phone, u cannot use the key. So, u have to go to reception. Even though the staff explained it to me, i always forgot it. So i had to go to reception twice. It was uncomfortable. But the staff was sooo kind and it was my fault.(?). Other things were perfect. It was soooo clean. And because there were lamps per bed, i could write dairy. It was really good. I was really content with this hostel!!!!

Had the most amazing experience at the hostel. Great staff, knowledgable and fun tours and activities that truly immersed you in the culture. Erica and Pablo are amazing guides I had so much fun on the walking tour, pub crawl, drinking games, flamenco, so sad I couldn't stay for longer than 2 nights!

The best one I've ever been, very interesting design. You can really find everything there - big cafe zone, cinema zone swing)) Maybe it's a little bit lack of the hostel's atmosphere because it's quite big and looks more like Hotel but I've spend just one night there so i cant be sure of that.

We enjoyed staying here, but we were very disappointed with the free city tour offered by this hostel. The tour guide, Erica, clearly had no idea what she was talking about. It was as though she made things up as she went along. Nearly ever time she stopped to talk, she brought up how much she wanted to be tipped. We heard more about tipping that any interesting information about Madrid. We went on another free tour the next day and learned more in the first 5 minutes than we did from this tour.
