The man at the front desk is EXTREMELY SLOW, I REPEAT EXTREMELY SLOW! Took about 45 minutes just to check in (was talking to me in 3 different languages!)

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, shower and toilet area in room could be improved though.

As a traveller who has been to many hostels, this is definitely one of the best, there are so many friendly people here so it's so easy to make friends especially if you are traveling by your self, the roof really makes the place special, as there are tapas parties there every few days, also the bar is great, it was very easy to check in, and all the staff were really cool. This is a great hostel for young people who like to party, I do not recommend for families as it might get too noisy!

First I stayed at the other Urbany and then I moved to this one. So, if you are young and wanna have the best time ever, this is the place. I made friends from all over the world. The staff was super friendly and gave me tips about what to do in Bcn. They take you everynight to Barcelona clubs for only 4€ and also organise a lot of events at the hostel (traditional food, drinking games, karaoke). I also liked a lot the location of the hostel, close to the center where all the fun is!! Hehe. 10/10

Hi! Our holiday in Barcelona went great and your hostel was good, but there is a few things you should pay attention to. Our toilet lock was broken (room 313), and one of our showers was bit powerless. But otherwise everything went great.

Great hostel - very high-tech and a great atmosphere! The bar was great and drinks were very cheap, the terrace with the pool was awesome and everyone was really friendly. I stayed in the female 10 bed hostel which was quite small although it made good use of the space. The only downsides: 1. the ensuite had a glass door which is kind of transparent and not at all soundproof - might be weird if staying in a mixed dorm 2. the kitchen facilities were really bad - 2 hotplates and no oven.

The bathroom sink was flooded the whole time. It was really hard to meet people unless you where flushing money

The hostel is nice, beds are good and it's on a nice location but it's not very cheap and everything you do makes you pay extra (laundry, breakfast, even printing). Also the hallways have strange green lights making you feel like you go to a drug place ;-). It wasn't really my atmosphere but it's a safe option.

The only downside to this hostel is that it is a trek from the beach, but it is served well by trains and is close to plenty other sites. Great staff and very clean. Only negative was that none of the shower heads seemed to work but that is only a minor thing.

There is nothing wrong to say about this hostel. Next to plaça Catalunya. I regret that there is no toilet at floors only in room. Seul reproche, les toilettes sont uniquement dans les chambres.

Very centrally located at the Universtat stop, so super easy if you are taking the bus from the airport or train station. Very cool decor and atmosphere. Rooms were clean and bottom bunks have full curtain. The private lockers were tight. Met great people here in the smaller dorm. The bar setup was good and great way to meet people. The rooftop was alright. Security guard roaming around at all times. Wifi was difficult to connect to. Great experience nonetheless.

Awesome hostel, the staff definitely make the place, they're a great laugh and very helpful...the nightly outings are absolutely brilliant, 4 Euro for a bus to the place and skipping the queue...must do! If you're looking for a social hostel, easy to meet people and are up for a laugh, here is the place for you. If you like your showers powerful and at a constant temperature (somewhere between scalding and Arctic), then may be not :P.

Awesome under the bed storage with key card lock. Enjoyed the all girls dorm. Helpful staff at travel desk for printing tickets etc. Paid luggage storage after check out in basement (5 Euro for 12 hours). Security guard at night, key card access to each floor. Walking distance to Las Ramblas and Universtat subway station. Plugs and lights at each bunk. Easy bus ride from airport.

Pros: Nice staff, high security standards. Some beds have curtains and all have sockets and lights right next to the beds. Lockers were big enough to store large backpacks. Cons: Our bathroom was incredibly dirty and the kitchen didn't look like we'd ever wanted to cook there. The bedrooms just had enough space for one person to pass through and get to the bathroom. The bathroom light could'nt be switched off so that it was not dark enough to sleep for the people in the beds without curtains.

This hostel felt very sterile and cold to me - perhaps it was the cement like corridors with strange blue lights that made it look like those toilets councils don't want street people to shoot up in?! Great beds with lockers that work with your security card. Fast Internet.

Urbany BCN Go is a great hostel to stay at in Barcelona. Fantastic location, staff are brilliant and the organisation of the bar tours is the best in Barcelona. Rooms were great, apart from a shower that sputtered and sprayed water everywhere except on you. Highly recommend.

The location of this hostel is brilliant for catching the metro and/or walking around to all the main places. The beach is an easy metro ride away or taxi home (€9) after a night out. The security couldn't be better and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Fab extras are the cheap in-house bar and the roof terrace. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great stay 😀
