I had a good sleep since it was not a bunk bed, so the bed won't shake. Room is quite clean. Nice people and staff.

Nice comfortable room, good kitchen, clean bathrooms, free parking, lot of other interesting travellers to talk to. If we came back to Vancouver, we will definitely stay again.

It is an old house, but clean. Nice location, and good security. Staff are friendly. If you need to use lockers, they are free, and the lockers in the first floor. Make sure to bring your owe lock or you can buy it at the dollar store in the 10 min. walk in a huge shopping mall. It is good deal if you are driving since it is free street parking.

It is less than 10 min. walk to Metrotown Skytrain, and a huge mall. It is a quiet and clean place. Don't expect to have a party in this backpacker house. Staff is helpful. No Breakfast provided, but kitchen facilities are good. With 18 dollars a night, I don't mind to prepare it myself.

not very secure, hardly ever clean the place, freezing at night and when ask to turn the heater on, the house assitant called the manager and they just said to give an extra blanket, me and the girls leterally had to sleep with gloves on. no privacy from manager whatsoever, he is a guy and just runs in a room full of girls without knocking and for absolutly no reason, . Wake me up at midnight while im sleeping, asking me if i want to extand my stay, when they can ask the next morning,REDICILIOUS

on hostelworld web posted a different housing than in reality...you could be likely taken away to other place (not far, not worse) where you share common areas not just with other guests but also with staff who permanently live there. do not expect any signs guesthouse etc. to locate the place...the room sockets are the oldest ones - even a changer won't help... otherwise quite ok!

To much about this place is appalling. Your given a roll of toilet paper that you better make sure you keep with you at all times, none is supplied in toilets/bathrooms/washrooms. Rubbish is left for many days in open garbage boxes in the kitchen. Takes 15 - 20 minutes to the nearest Skytrain, another 30 minutes to get downtown. The closest Super market at Metrotown is appalling, impossible to buy even a sandwich here, no variety of soft drinks, very very poor quality food. Zero minus points.

This hostel was one of the best hostels I ever stayed in! The housekeeper Patty was so kind, helpful and made sure everything was so clean tidy and just perfect for me! Patty was extremely helpful also in helping me stay longer. The hostel was a great way for me to make friends as I did not know anybody when I arrives. A great experience! I would recommend this hostel to anyone as it is great value for money!

good location, quite and clean. Not suitable for people who love partying. No bunk bed, so you will not find your bed shaking at night :)

The staff was especially helpful, and diminutive. Graciously going beyond their duty's out of site.

If the back door was lock at all time, that would be great!

The staff were not very helpful and the location was awful. It is a pretty bad area to be walking round at night particularly. The bathrooms were not very clean either, nor was the bedding. However it was very cheap so i suppose you get what you pay for.

I really liked staying here. It is close to the skytrain and has good internet connection. Price is very good. If you are not in Vancouver for partying then I would absolutely recommend staying here.

It's a wonderful stay there. This is a quiet and friendly place and peoplewise. The host Max and Carol were very helpful and friendly. If anyone is looking for a budget and convenient place to stay in Vancouver, this is the place.

I really enjoyed my stay in this place, if you are looking for a quiet and good value accomadation don't look further. Our room was clean, the kitchen was well furnished (yes there is more than 3 forks and knives don't worry), the manager is really friendly and gives you good tips regarding the areas and stuff to do and see. The guest house is not in the city but only 15 min on sky train, and contrary to hostel in downtown the area is safe (no drunks, junkies...) close to a big shopping mall

This one is a pretty bare-bones operation, but good enough nonetheless. It is a pretty quiet place with only three beds per dorm room. The bathrooms are clean enough and there is a kitchen available. The location is pretty far out (in Burnaby, outside of Vancouver), but it is right on the sky train ($3.75 fare into town, less in the evenings) so you can get where you want to be in 30 minutes or so. Use this if you want an alternative to the really active hostels in downtown Vancouver.

A really nice place, but its not close to the city at all. some reviews said it was, but, in my opinion, its pretty far out. other than that though it was a nice place.
