Located only 100m from Gara de Nord railway station, our B&B/hostel is the closest in Bucharest to the 780 Airport Express bus!
Our B&B is run by a Canadian family so there�s always someone around who speaks English and can tell you about this amazing city. We know what it means to be new in town, so let us be your guide!
The rooms in this 1920s villa range from multi-bed dorms to private family suites and en suite double rooms. We�ve recently renovated with damask sheets, new duvets and new shower stalls. We�re child- and pet-friendly!
All of our guests get a lovely start to their day with a breakfast of hot pancakes and tea/coffee; there�s a cold buffet on Saturdays to give our chef the day off! We also have filtered water, clean linen and towels, free bicycle rental and storage, Internet access, DVDs, book swap, board games, a garden and an old piano.

The nearby proximity to Bucharest's Gare Nord is very important to Vila 11, and late at night we appreciated their clear directions for the walk. The staff is family-run and very helpful. On a previous visit we enjoyed a large breakfast, but this time had to catch a very early train and missed it. Our hope is that some attention to plumbing can be given since there was no hot water that day and bathroom fixtures needed repair. But the hostel is a charming old house and the price is a good value.

Things to Note
Please note that your booking will be cancelled if you arrive later than your estimated arrival time and haven't informed us beforehand. Bookings made with no arrival time will be held until 6pm.
Our hostel is non-smoking but you're welcome to smoke in the lobby and garden. Please note we are not handicap accessible, due to stairs. Sorry! Visitors with disabilities can request a room on the lower level (there's eight stairs). Please note that we observe the Sabbath from sundown Friday until sundown Saturday. We are available to our guests for advice and information but we can't perform any financial transactions, carrying or cleaning. Thanks for your understanding.
