very peaceful, beautiful views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Able to get the bus in to the old town, every half hour. We all had a great time thank you.
Sanija is a very friendly & gracious host. She offered lots of good suggestions for places to visit and how to get there. We felt very welcome, the place was very clean, we dried our laundry on the balcony (good view) and we used the fridge to keep our breakfast food. Villa Alliya is located close the the number 3 bus which you have to use to avoid walking up and down the big hill to New Port. Ask Sanija about the beautiful things she makes for the shop she works in.
Great place! Very nice room with nice ensuite. Our room did not have a great view, but still great value for money. It was very clean and comfortable and had a lovely ensuite with warm shower. The hostess was very kind, spoke English excellently and was extremely helpful. It is quite high up and out of the way however it's easy to get a bus into old town and key attractionsand takes 30 mins from Old town to the apartment and around 15 mins from apartment to old town. 30 min walk to Babin Kuk.
Nice room, clean and calm. The hosts are available to answer to all of our question. The villa is located near of the bus terminal (15minutes walking) what is very practical if you want to take bus to visit cities near of Dubrovnik but the villa remains far of the old town: it is necessary to take a bus to go there.
It's a good place to stay. Rooms are big enough to stay confortable. Clean and quiet. Far from de center, bus station and port. Conected by bus. The pick you up from them but you have to pay for the transport service.
Dusty and needed vacuuming, when we said something about it, the hostel owner became very hostile, so really unpleasant atmosphere. Really isolated location too, so you'd have to have a car to stay there. Not a nice experience at all.

It was a perfect place for its price-service-quality. We stayed for a week and felt perfect! We enjoyed staying there. Hostesses were great! If I come back, then definitely there.
Sanija was very helpful with knowledge of Dubrovnik and use of her kitchen facilities and clear directions to the hostel (which would have been difficult to find). Located high above port and on outskirts but view is worthwhile and bus stop is nearby . Great value for money - would pay more to have coffee/tea making facilities and easier access to refridgerator and basic cutlery and drinking glasses. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend, even though some distance from beaches and old town.
A litle far fom old town, but close to the bus and ferry stations and close to a bus stop, although there are stairs involved. Very nice lady who showed me the room and nice driver who picked me up initially, but be prepared to take a bus to get food, there are no shops or restaurants nearby and no kitchen facilities. But great view from the front and very peaceful.
it is very nice accommoditaion..the owner of the hostel is very kind and responsible...it is just out of the city and you have to use public transport to get to there...I satisfed with the room..I didnot saty there to have certain experiences about the place...but during the night ıt might me a bit challanging to reach the hostel...you must use taxi...peaceful, clean, privacy, hot wate, clean everthing ...they were all high quality in all manner...next time if I should go to the city again,
Very friendly and helpful. Although no in city center, easy to get to and from.
Many thanks for your lovely accommodation and your friendliness. Highly recommended.
Beautiful view on Dubrovnik. You have to take a taxi or the bus to get to the city center, but the view is worth being a little further. Friendly staff, and very clean rooms.
Nice and cozy place with a great view, thanks ! Perhaps some more information and suggestions about things to visit in the city would be nice.
Lovely spot high on the hill, get them to pick you up first time as it would be tricky to find walking ..easy walk down to the bus station.
Thanks for the stay during the week of 11th May! We had a fantastic time and it was made great by having a lovely place to stay.
The rooms are on the first floor (british floor counting) of a private house, on the side of a hill overlooking the port. You can take the bus to get between here and the bus station, or you can walk about 25 minutes using stairs. Use OpenStreetMap for accurate map of the stairs. Overall its basic (except the bathroom which was very nice), but good for the price and location. Only problem was noise that sounded like a washing machine on spin cycle on floor above at around midnight.
Yasmina - who welcomed us - was really helpful - even ordered us a pizza when we arrived late at night - made for a great start to our holiday.
