Very bad conditions rooms, the bathroom shared wasn't beeing clean at all! The Tv in the room was not working, they told me there was an engineer comming to fix it but he never came!it doesn't look like a hostel! You don't see a commom area to watch TV or a kitchen! And to keep the luggage after and before check in you have to pay for each bag! T expensive for what they offer! A good thing is everybody is polite and the place has a very good location and is safe the neiborhood too!

We were pretty happy with our stay, the little annoyances we experienced were outweighed by the fab location and value for money! The bathroom was a bit grotty (due to the number of users), motion sensor lights are a rubbish idea, very little sleep without eyemasks! And very, gery warm rooms, we were grateful for the air con in December. Overall, if youre looking for somewhere to rest you head in the middle of manhatten, at a cheap rate with minimal but afequate facilities then I'd highly recom!

excellent location! Is not a lovely place, but is fare enough if you only look for a place to rest after walking all day in NYC.

Some people behind the desk don't treat you in a professional way, they give you the feeling that you are disturbing them.

This is a Big Hostel with several features that are very good. Unfortunately the restrooms and the schwöre facilities have Not been improved over the Last 6 years. The restrooms are Not properly cleaned and the shower facilities are often broken with having 3 per floor/gender. The rooms are more or less cleaned up. If you Stay in a double room the lower bed has no chance to See the TV or read in the bed because of lousy light options. Either though it is fine to stay some days in NYC!

The restrooms are not well cleaned, look really poor also. The curtains for the bathtub arent covering the whole range. The radiator in the room was kind of broken and very dirty. Also the windows where dirty, couldn't open at all.

can't ask for much more when staying in Manhattan at this price. Staff was great. This is not a party hostel but a decent place to rest your head after long nights/days in the city. The private room was bigger than expected, mine had a TV in it, window fan, heater, dresser/closet. I was surprised by the key card entrance (not sure if they all had it). I recommend.

We stayed in the bunk bed room the first night. The tv didn't work. The upper bunk felt flimsy and the mattress moved with the person on the top bunk when they moved. There are no bunks with a side rail which would make this problem better. The shared Shower stalls although I somewhat understand seemed unuseable.in a healthy way. I changed to a double room with a private bath and was very happy. We expected no extras. The room was clean. Housekeeping service was good. Hot water. Good location.

The two of us stayed for 6 days and discovered that it is in a great location. Easy access to everywhere. Lincoln Center is a few steps away. Retiring in a few minutes after the opera ends near mid night is very cozy, rather than waiting in cold night in the loud subway. Very friendly and helpful staff. After a tiring day out, a well cleaned room is very nice. Top floors are renovated. Rooms are larger and bathrooms are private but still located in the hallway. These rooms cost more.
