A great hostel in a great location, very much in city center and walking distance to the major clubs, restaurants, and sites.

That's a great hostel to stay in. I've stayed at Wombat's in Berlin and Vienna and they are all great.

The best hostel I`ve been! Excelent bedrooms, very very very clean! The only `but` is that they don't have many computers to use.

Great service! When we extended our stay for two nights, they lost our reservation. Normally that would be a negative but the staff handled it wonderfully by offering us free breakfast and drinks as an apology, and we were upgraded to a 4 bed from our 8-bed. What could have been a disaster (they were booked full) ended up great!

I travel a lot. Must of the time short city trips. So I am familiar with hostels. The Wombat Hostel in Budapest was the best till this date. Better than the hostels in London, Amsterdam or where ever I was at. The price was super and everything was more than good. I really like the stuff and the offers from the hostel. Like free towels, wifi, insider tips for the city. Thank you very much for this beautiful stay in Budapest.

Fantastic exprience, i had 4 nights stay here. The stuffs are beyond friendly, they are much more helpful then you expected. The location is excllent, close to the only one trans metro station of M1,M2,M3, and also close to all main attractions, all in walkoing distance. the hostel was renoviated based on a hotel, so it euiped with large lobby, kitchen, bar and cantin, all in good decoration, with many big couches and which are really relaxing and comfortable. Room was clean and big also.

Very very clean, nicer bathroom than many hotels I've stayed in. Beds incredibly comfortable. Hostel is very large though and the atmosphere is a little sterile.

Wombats is a huge hostel with a great reputation. The staff were friendly, the wifi was good, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was great. You pay a small free for it, but it was worth it. The only downside was that our room was incredibly warm. We couldn't control the temperature and both windows were jammed, so it felt pretty swampy (for lack of a better word) but, when we mentioned it to the staff, they were super helpful and fixed the window issue. I'd definitely stay her again!

Really friendly and helpful staff, a shame they ran out of towels, but we received them the next morning.
