Simply the best hostel I ever been. Bedrooms and bathrooms (ensuite) are really good. Location couldn't be better, right in the centre and very near to restaurants, pubs and clubs. The bar at the hostel is awesome, with happy hour, great atmosphere, party starts there. For breakfast you have to buy a cheap ticket, but is an all you can eat and very good quality. Just go and enjoy your stay and Budapest!

Very clean! Would like to have an area where I could upload photos from my camera but this is something minor. Would definitely stay here again.

The hostel is AMAZING. It was our first time using a hostel to stay at and it was very modern and nice. We were on the 1st floor so too much noise when we were trying to sleep. Would recommend asking for a room on a higher floor if you want to get some shut eye. The area around the hostel is alright, but could be better. Example, when we asked how to get to the train station, the staff told us they wouldn't recommend walking there, better to taxi it cuz the area wasn't that great. :/

Perfect location in the center, many bars, clubs, restaurants in the neighbourhood. Hostel is very clean and seems to be safe - you get magnetic keys to doors and big locker. The doorm for 8 people was surprisingly big and it was more like 2 room segment with bathroom, which made me feel very comfortable. The atmosphere in the hostel is quite particular, downstairs it looks more like a club, the music is very loud but the part with dormitories is separated and I didn't hear the noise.

The hostel is very good, great location and atmosphere. I had already stayed in the one in Vienna, the reason why I booked straight away the Wombats in Budapest. I just found two problems that could be easily fixed by the managers: 1) the shower was broken in the room I stayed in, 2) the locker is not very reliable. In two different occasions my friends and I found our locker opened, even though we were sure we had closed it. Nothing was missing, but we could not leave our stuff in there anymore

Ridiculously clean. Cleaner than clean. Definitely more hotel than hostel. The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms are huge with private temperature control and very comfortable pillows/mattresses. Location is excellent and the decor was lovely. I wish it were a bit more social-feeling and that the wifi worked better in the room, but all in all it was a great place to stay.

We thought that the breakfast had to less variety. One day, the fresh fruit was missing.

Everything about this place was fantastic. Most important, this is the perfect location for experiencing Budapest. All of the cool places and nightlife is right next to here. Highly recommended, I'll be coming back.

We were a large group (58 students and teachers) and were very satisfied with the facilites. Breakfast was as good as you would get in a hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and we made full use of the facilities (especially the Happy Hour in the bar). One night some other guests were noisy but the concierge quickly intervened to quieten them down. Great hostel!
