The location is definitely the best thing about this place. It's more of a hotel than a hostel, but I'd read that staff weren't very helpful a couple of days before I stayed. This is not true whatsoever. From the guy who cleaned my room, to the girls on reception, they were all very helpful and nice. It's definitely worth staying here. I enjoyed it.

Internet needs to be installed in rooms, not just lobby. Other than that, wonderful experience.

Check-out time is abnormally early at 10am compared to other hotels/hostels.

The soba shop across the road is good... That's all I can think of. Not much to comment about this place, not very sure why it is listed under hostel group because they considered themselves as a hotel. Location wise, I would rather stay much closer to train station... as walking in the rain with backpack and all other belongings was quite challenging.

It's no question about it. This Ryokan can be the best Ryokan in Osaka city center. I prefer this area called Minami rather than Kita. To me, Kita seems smaller Tokyo. Feel Osaka, eat Osaka, meet freindly Osaka guys & girls, I strongly recomend this Ryokan.

This place was really great! The staff were brilliant and the room was cosy and really close to Namba, meaning that we could go and enjoy the sights of Osaka with ease.
