As there weren't many people, we were put in a room in another building. The location was still good, but it meant there was only a dorm room. Not really what I wanted as was travelling alone and hoping to meet people in the hostel.

I only stayed there overnight and because of the low season I got moved to a separate location on the other side of the street. Overall, I found this place clean and warm-it was awfully cold that day. Nothing to complain about-the price was great, too. To the Brazilian guy at the reception-I do hope you go ahead with your trip! Thanks for being so welcoming!

I had a great time staying at the hostel. The staff, especially the brasilian guy, is great and very helpful. Breakfast cannot be recommended because you only get two slices of bread and some stuff. It was enough for me but if you are hungry you should better try the bar at the corner.

There´s no communal area and no cutlery and no sink or anything in the kitchen and the toilets are too small to use and the staff are miserable but Salamanca is brilliant and it´s the only cheap hostel there so... worth spending less on a bit of a poor hostel to stay in Salamanca!

not a big fan of HI hostels in general so again it really didnt compete with independant hostels out there but it did the job for 13 euros a night. theres no kitchen however, just a microwave and mini fridge...no sink though!

It was a nice hostel and i really enjoyed my stay. My only complaints would be the cooking facilities (only microwave available) the small beds, and not really having a social area. However, the rooms were for 20 people so it was easy to meet others in your room, good atmosphere, and overall a fun time. Good price as well. I would stay here again.
