We are in the centre of the 18th century baroque city of Catania, less than 5 minutes from the centrepiece of the town: The Piazza Duomo.

Sveva B&B is in the area of the 'Castello Ursino', one of the few structures of the ancient city to survive the 1669 eruption. Centrally located and near the main facilities of the town.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

From Catania you can easily reach Mt. Etna, Syracuse, Taormina or visit the beauty of Catania itself and its nightlife.

It was terrible. Bed full of Bed Bugs and we had to leave the room in the middle of the nigth. There were a lot bed bugs! In general it didnt look and feel clean at all. Breakfast very much if a joke and no kitchen equipment but well. All the rest would could been okeeey..

My confirmation said ”luxury private bedroom”. Luxury was not the word that should have been in it. The pillows stanck of old sweat. Truly unpleasant. Staff was not to be seen and breakfast was a croissant with orange marmelade. Coffee was self service.

Think twice before you book this place! Overall the owner just creeps you out. He wonders around all over his place with no shirt all day and everything including 👴🏻 is dirty. In our shared bathroom, there was dried puke in the sink and dried pee next to the toilet. The cleaning lady comes every day, but the bathroom remained mostly dirty. Bedsheets were not clean! The bed it queekes really loud. previous guests state that they have been stolen from(room keys all the same).
