Localizada em frente à praia, perto do famoso surf spot Popoyo. O mercado de produtos fica a dois minutos a pé do nosso albergue. Também há muitos restaurantes ao redor.

Cool Hostel with nice people, a good vibe and perfect location. Unfortunately it wasn’t very clean and no one would come and clean the rooms during the stay. Also there were no towels included in the price. Compared to a way cheaper and better hostel we stayed at Ometepe Popoyo Loco hasn’t convinced us. The restaurant (Nica Grill) which is located inside of the hostel is really good and worth a visit. The food is really yummy and the owners are super nice.

There‘s a lot that has to be done to make it a hostel with ambiance. There were pump problems with the water, the host only said after our showers with little water that he has to turn it up manually while he‘d be at a bar next door. He was very friendly and helpful though by bringing us to the bus stop. Some quick fixes around the house need to be made as well. Water refill only for a dollar, accommodation is too expensive for the money, beach access is nice and staff are lovely.
