Surrounded by lush green gardens, the bamboo lined path leads you to our big wooden doors, straight through reception and onto our poolside patio. It snakes past our bar, yoga area, skate ramp, meditation space, hammocks, private beach area and straight onto the white sand of Barra Da Lagoa Beach. With big spacious rooms, incredible 24/7 hot showers, brand new extra-long beds (for taller people), individual lights and power points, giant private lockers, air conditioning in every room, cotton sheets, free bath towels, daily cleaning, wifi, a very comfortable lounge with big screen TV and PlayStation, ping-pong table, a fully equipped kitchen, 24 hour reception and security surveillance, and much much more!

We chose this property not only for its unique beauty but also for its location. The Search House is the only hostel in Barra da Lagoa with private access to the 14 km stretch of pristine beachfront. While our facility is like a magical oasis that you dont want to leave, we are active people and we encourage our guests to take advantage of all this location has to offer. Whether you are an experienced or beginner surfer, this beach has the right conditions for all.

As well as surfing, you have the opportunity to kayak, stand-up paddle board, snorkel, kitesurf, cycle, or skate on our custom built half-pipe. If you prefer a slower pace you can explore all the wonders of this magical island by foot, or take advantage of our dedicated yoga and meditation spaces, or simply relax by the pool or take in the sun while reading a book on our private beach area. By night we have a fully equipped outdoor bar with a great sound system, and we know how to party! From pool parties to live concerts, we have your social schedule covered. We are located close to the central hub of Lagoa Da Conceio, where you have a wide selection of restaurants, bars and clubs. We also have connections with the best nightspots and can help arrange your night out with a direct shuttle service.

The Search House Policies and Conditions:

Check in from 14:00 to 00:00
Check out before 11:00

Cancellation policy: 7 days before arrival.
The total amount of your reservation will be charged 7 days prior to your arrival, using your card details.
In case of no show and late cancelation you will be charged for the full stay and there is no refund.

General:
No curfew.
We do not accept guests younger than 18 years of age.

IMPORTANT There are no cash points in Barra da Lagoa. We will recommend you go to Lagoa de Conceiçao.
We charge a security deposit of R$100, which is returned at your check out if everything is ok.
